The cabin is located in a quiet part of the island on the edge of a beautiful bay that you can swim, snorkel and kayak in. Johnny was also a great host and was very accommodating, driving us to get dinner each night and also bringing us to the market on the way from the airport. Johnny's mum was also lovely.

We loved everything about our experience and stay with Isabella and Edward. They are wonderful hosts and their property is clean and in a fabulous location. You will need a car to travel to them. You should hire a car anyway to see the entire island, its gorgeous. We enjoyed conversing with the other guests during our stay and the breakfast of bread and fresh fruit was delightful. We highly recommend staying at La Maison Du Voyage and look forward to going back!

I found it very comfortable for a solo woman traveller. The hostess Marie & her husband were also very empathetic seeing I was alone and gave me pizza on my first night. They also bought dinner for me on my last night. Truly recommended & great Wi-Fi, very clean, air con, tv with utube Netflix etc. 100m to Yee Foo Magasin & super comfortable.

The house is spacious with two bathrooms and toilets., The view is amazing, big veranda with table and raised bed, outdoor shower is also a big bonus.,The kitchen have everything you need.The owners Cathy and Ralph are very helpful and nice people! Access with the car is a bit difficult, you have to stop and carry your bags for 20-30 m , but Ralf was there to help for the first and the last day.. Overall , very positive!

We arrived in the dark, and our host was so gracious, and came out to meet us at the street, because we were a little lost. This property far exceeded our expectations and was even better than the pictures. The host were so kind and assured that every need was met. The property is so beautifully designed. Guests have maximum privacy, but use of all the amenities. We had such a nice visit with our hosts and received great recommendations for things to see and great restaurants. I didn’t think places like this still existed. It is a slice of paradise!

Interaction with host was exceptional - directions to Lodge were clear and easy to follow, we were greeted by a local young woman who explained all the appliances etc plus a rental car was available for us when we arrived and a recommendation for a day trip was outstanding. Lodge was beautiful - full of fresh flowers, kayacks and outdoor lounges etc were all included, safe and quiet with a lagoon just metres from the outdoor balcony. Fantastic sunsets.

Oferecendo acomodações com ar-condicionado e piscina privativa, o bangalô chez sofpat está situado em Uturoa. Sophie (Sof) and Patrice’s (Pat) aka Sofpat fare was more than we could have hoped for. It looked in real life just the same as the pictures in their advert. It was clean, well equiped with everything we required. The fare was private, it was easy to access. The location to town was perfect. To be fortunate enough to have access to a great pool really worked for us and to have our own car to use the whole time we were there was the icing on the cake. As much as everything I have written was superb I really would like to write also that over and above how the fare was and equiped it was the engagement, the hosting, the caring from Sophie, Patrice, Agnes, Mahealani, and Hinenui that my wife and I will most remember. Right from our arrival at the airport and to be greeted by Mahealani and Hinenui these two strong and beautiful Mao’hi women who picked us up, then to meet the matriarch of their family Mama Agnes who brought us a freshly prepared breakfast each morning that was more than my wife and I could eat. We were lucky to meet Sophie and Patrice the day before we left Raiatea and although our time with them was brief, both were the utmost of hosts to us. My wife and I have already decided to return in June 2026 (at the latest) and we’ll only be staying with Sophie, Patrice and their extended family. We’ll start french language lessons as soon as we arrive back to Aotearoa (New Zealand).

Situado em Tevaitoa, na região de Raiatea, o RAIATEA - The BEACH HOUSE - plage sur le lagon! A propriedade dispõe de jardim. The location on the lagoon was amazing. We really appreciated being able to borrow the two kayaks, and snorkel from practically the back door. The host was very responsive. The location was convenient and easy to find. The host has a very well behaved dog, and a friendly cat who would stop by for a visit. I said it once, but I will say it again, the location on the lagoon was amazing.

O Fare Oviri Lodge tem vista para uma praia privativa e oferece bangalôs em estilo polinésio com um pátio privativo e vista da montanha e do mar. Michael and his wife were absolutely wonderful hosts, they are putting in a lot of work to make the property even more beautiful. They were very attentive to our needs, and helped arrange excursions (best to arrange before you arrive, they fill up!) The bungalow was lovely, clean and roomy (fresh flowers in the room when we arrived). The shared space had everything we needed to prepare meals. We indulged, and had two breakfasts prepared for us, we were so full we skipped lunch both days! Kayaks are provided with nice snorkeling, and the huge archaeological site within paddling distance. We encountered dolphins on our day paddling. Rays are common, but we missed seeing them. We absolutely recommend a stay here, they are equipped to host couples and entire families.
