What a wonderful town so full of history! So many interesting stores with historical backgrounds. Definitely visit the Pacific War Museum and go to a reenactment if there's one on that day. Too many great places to eat, drink and shop in.

Downtown Fredericksburg is cute with lots of shops, although most are pricey. Free street parking! Many, many wineries nearby!
Lady Bird Park is amazing! We were in town for viewing the solar eclipse, and they treated us like royalty! No charge for admittance. No parking passes needed. Tons of staff available throughout! Permanent restrooms and tons of porta potties. Free eclipse glasses. Food and souvenirs available. The park is big, beautiful, and well-maintained. We were in a car, but there were camping sites too. Surprisingly fast and easy getting out of the park due to folks directing traffic. Kudos to whomever was in charge of Lady Bird Park on April 8, 2024!

All merchants restaurant personal were friendly and polite.
All merchants restaurant personal were friendly and polite. Things went well with all reservations. The price for the rental was high dye to the eclipse. Even guides at enchanted Rock were helpful and allowed us in, even though we didn't have reservations.

I thought Main St in Fredericksburg was too expensive.
I thought Main St in Fredericksburg was too expensive. Most of the items we looked at were made in China and overpriced. We were disappointed in the items available and the prices.
I would have enjoyed seeing more of the town and learning more about the community.

Great town in the "Napa Valley" of Texas!
Great town in the "Napa Valley" of Texas! But just not Wine Country, Fredericksburg has so many things to do and great places to eat and drink. Early Texas and German culture mixed with a first-class atmosphere!

Fredericksburg is a weekend town catering for tourists.
Fredericksburg is a weekend town catering for tourists.
Quieter during the week which I preferred. Lots to see and do in the area. Museums and wineries to visit.
Live music in the saloons and some restaurants which I enjoyed.
The room was big enough that the two queen beds were across the room from each other. The registrar walked around and found a room like this for us when I called. The bathroom had a tub which was nice for bathing our baby. The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. The location was nice, right on the edge of Fredricksberg, a little away from the busy downtown area.
Loved the aesthetic feel of the cabin, was very homey, good location to most wineries as well as Fredericksburg(about 8 miles away), easy to get in and out of, loved the lights highlighting the road to cabins at night, very nice road, loved the view especially either the alpacas or llamas that we saw the morning we left.
This place was a great find! My husband and I stayed here for a few nights during our recent spring break trip. It was convenient to downtown Fredericksburg, wineries, Enchanted Rock State Park, and Luckenbach. The cottage truly had a Texas feel to it which was a nice touch - very charming!
The hotel is on the edge of town so there’s no traffic or parking issues. Plenty of parking on the property. Room looked and smelled clean, A/C worked great, water pressure was good, and the mini fridge and microwave were both clean and functional. Luggage carts available, too.
The woman at the front desk was so personable and friendly! The room was clean and comfortable. It was updated and close to everything. The price was great. We felt safe. What more could you ask for?
I loved the location, specifically the fact that it was on a separate road than the main hotel. The room was spacious and clean. I will be staying here again the next time we're in Fredericksburg.
The location was okay. The location was lumped in with a lot of other options that were closer to downtown Fredericksburg, so it was a little further away from the activities than I realized.
Easy access to Enchanted Rock Natural Area. Pretty easy access to Fredericksburg. Nice wrap-around porch. Plenty of room for the kids to play. Having longhorns next door was a bonus.
The hotel is worn, but very clean. It is walking distance to Sunset Grill, one of our favorite places to eat in Fredericksburg. It is in a really quiet part of town.
