Linareva Moorea Beach Resort, hotel in Haapiti

Located right on the beach, Linareva Moorea Beach Resort is a small hotel in characteristic French Polynesian style.

Our family of four had the BEST time at Linareva Moorea Beach Resort! The owner Vanessa and her crew worked so hard to make sure we had everything we needed and made us feel so welcome. They helped us with reservations for activities and restaurants and gave clear instructions. The little bungalows are decorated in traditional Tahitian style, and you get a great feel for an authentic Tahitian home. It's very clean, but basic. This is not posh like the Sofitel, but we like it better because it is down to earth and quiet and more personal. Plus, it's not far from restaurants and places to eat. Though we had a kitchen in our bungalow, we loved the outdoor fridge where we could get a super cold drink to pay for later at check out. Such a brilliant idea. Our favorite thing about our stay was their dock from which to look at the incredible land, snorkel, swim, catch beautiful sunsets, and then stargaze. We also had a blast kayaking. The only thing we would change is to stay longer! We sure hope to be back again! Maururu Vanessa and Rumia and the rest of the crew! Rooms: We stayed in a bungalow with a living area, kitchen, two bathrooms, two bedrooms, and a small dining area inside and outside. Nearby activities: We snorkeled and kayaked right at the property. Off the property we parasailed and went on an ATV tour. All were amazing. Safety: Very safe! Walkability: We had a car, but one could walk to a few things (maybe 15 min away or so?). The restaurants will come pick you up if you don't have a car and you call ahead of time. Food & drinks: We LOVED Snack Mahana and Family Pizza!

Fare Anuanua, hotel in Haapiti

Offering a garden, Fare Anuanua offers accommodations in Haapiti. This beachfront property offers access to a terrace, free private parking, and free Wifi.

The location and views were awesome! Cleans and safe space. Lovely bungalow. Sylvie was a very gracious host and helped us with our plans. The breakfast served was refreshing and delicious. She made us feel pampered. She filled our bottles for us so we did not need to use more plastic. Sylvie happily gave my little girl a pineapple to eat. My girl was so touched by this gesture. The Bungalow has all necessary amenities and Loved being away from the tourist locations. Limited use of Wi-Fi but that did not bother us at all. My kids were tickled by this :) We were out for the most part.

Hôtel Fenua Mata'i'oa, hotel in Haapiti

Set within a unique tropical garden beside the lagoon, Hôtel Fenua Mata'i'oa features a bar and an on site restaurant. Guests at this waterfront property can relax in the outdoor hot tub.

Love the private patio overlooking the lagoon. You can see sunset and sunrises from the patio. You can see fishes right in the water. We also saw stingray. There's no restaurant at the bungalow, but you can order food from front desk. There's a common bar area and common game room if you don't want to stay in your room. The decoration is very spa like with in-door pond. There's a market and food places within walking distance from the bungalow. Tour will come pick-up from this location.

Close to shops and restaurants, but quite a long way from the port. Nice bungalow with deck overlooking the lagoon. They let us check in early, the guy at the front desk was helpful and booked a tour for us which was great as most things are closed on Saturday afternoon.

The scenery was spectacular. The people were very friendly.

The scenery was spectacular. The people were very friendly. The beach was excellent. It was great to be able to lay under a palm tree for shade. A car is strongly recommend. It is easy to drive around the island, the roads are perfect. The island is very quiet, except for the roosters which add a fabulous authenticity to the island experience.

The NW corner of Moorea has some of the most beautiful water...

The NW corner of Moorea has some of the most beautiful water, is close to most excursions, and has one of the bigger shopping/restaurant areas. If there was a drawback, the forever knee deep shallow water is great for little kids, but not the best for snorkeling for adults, unless you cross over to the shark/ray area or the smaller islands by boat/kayak. Also, the current is a bit strong for kayakjing.

Everything and everyone is happy on Mo’orea!

Everything and everyone is happy on Mo’orea! It is easy to get there by ferry, but we should have gotten a car-the taxi is expensive (everywhere here in FP) and all the locals say the bus is unreliable-but as long as you don’t need to commute anywhere, it is a beautiful, beautiful place to relax and unwind!

The area was very picturesque and well located.

The area was very picturesque and well located. Many activities to do from this area, weather was perfect, not too humid or hot as I thought it would be. The Tahitian people are extremely helpful, caring and happy. Easy to get around the Island as well.
