The place was absolutely spotless and very comfortable. Nice and quiet even though it's close to road. I appreciated having access to a laundry room as well.

Sitting directly on the beach, this hotel is 10 minutes’ drive from North Island College. Each room offers a private terrace with ocean views. View right over the water. Large room with king size bed, very comfortable. All facilities needed. The staff very helpful and friendly, especially the ones on the terrace bar.

The room had a great view and plenty of fixtures such as 3 chairs and a table, a large amount of storage for bags and things, good fridge. Close to downtown but far enough away to be peaceful. The road in front is fairly busy but the rooms all face towards the water on the other side so it seems more remote than it is. We did not have time to use the lawn / outdoor lounge area but it looked nice. At lower tides there is walking on the cobble beach.
