The hotel connected me to a taximan and guide named Elijah, who took me to Kalokol, where, with Elijah's help, I hired a boat to go to a fishing village called Longech. I walked along the beach and through the village and saw how the locals process fish. I had fun interacting with kids, who were happy to see a mzungu. Elijah also took me around Lodwar town to look for Turkana crafts and to the giant cross at the Catholic shrine near the airport, which I'd recommend. I was impressed with the hotel and the trip they helped to arrange, and I hope to return to Quanum Woods again soon.

We spend there 5 nights during our work there. The AC was so important for us after whole day working on hot desert. Stuff is extremely nice! Food is also delicious. It was clean and Quiet.
