He will provide you with very useful tips on where to go and when to visit (some sightseeing spots are very crowded, and he knows the best times to explore them). Breakfast was included, and Dila did a really great job. It was a good start to the day. Additionally, we ordered homemade dinners, which were simply delicious. The room is clean, and the bed is comfortable. The sounds of nature surround you, creating a warm and comfortable atmosphere. Magic tea is available at any time of the day from the family. The house is 10min from the main road, with a big beautifull garden. Room is spacious, clean and comfortable. They welcomed us with flower petals on the bed 😍 You have hot water and towels. The breakfast is tasty while the dinner is even more delicious. We ate 2 dinners here and both of them were amazing. The owners helped us find a scooter and you can also rent a guide for safari. With such cheap price, warm welcome, comfortable stay and delicious food, this is definitely the acommodation you should stay in Sigiriya.

Bus from Dambulla drops you off on the main road about a 5 minute walk. The family is very sweet and makes you feel at home from the beginning. We had an amazing stay spending time with them and their animals, and learning about their culture every day. Just be aware that the wifi in Sigiriya is not the best, just like in any rural area in Sri Lanka. All in all, one of the best stays we have had in the country. The breakfast is amazing too!
