What an absolutely amazing stay. We were traveling from Dakar in Senegal where we live. My wife had felt sick in Morocco and was still running a slight fever when we showed up. The care, the attention to detail, the friendship, the love—Suren (the host) set a VERY high bar for others to live up to as we explore this country. We miss him and his wife’s wonderful cooking already. The food is definitely worth taking, delicious. Suren is a natural at hosting, it’s a true passion for him. I arrived in Srilanka by arriving in Cottage Garden, such a nice place for stay and take Srilankan temperature. Quite, peaceful, with tortule friends who is walking in the garden. Breakfast was very good and generous.

Cleanliness , well organized , friendliness (especially the person who's at the gate was so friendly and helpful ). Kitchen was well equipped and fully functional.
