The room is super equipped and very clean. The special thing about the accommodation for me was the hosts in particular - they are the nicest people ever. They helped me with everything and we had great conversations. The dinner at their place was great, I can highly recommend it. It was the best accommodation in Sri Lanka so far.

U Sri Lanki smo proveli 20 dana na 7 lokacija. Ovaj smestaj je ubedljivo najbolji. Lokacija je blizu dve izuzetne plaze, a tuk-tukom je sve na 5-10 minuta. Apartman je prostran i odlicno opremljen. Kreveti udobni, a pogled sa privatne terase,na bastu, divan. Ipak, ono sto je ostavilo najjaci utisak je, odnos nasih domacina prema nama. Divna porodica!!! Neprimetni, a uvek su bili tu kada je nam je nesto trebalo. Cak i kada smo napustili smestaj, bili smo u kontaktu i vrlo brzo su nam pomogli u resavanju, par neugodnih situacija, iako su bili preko 50 km daleko. I am on a 3-week trip around Sri Lanka and this has been my No. 1 highlight. Accommodation was just as advertised, if not better - great location (5 minute walk to the beach), spacious airconditioned rooms, lovely jungly surroundings and great views while sitting outside and having breakfast every morning. Peacocks, squirrels, wild parrots - to name just a few species... normal daily views/visits without even stepping outside of the garden. Incomparable peacefulness. Sri Lankan breakfast was great and kept me full until dinner. They also provide lunch and dinner, upon request. Last but not least - Ruchira, the landlord, was the best host ever. He took me around when I just arrived to show me what is where, provided valuable tips and arranged for me to go see the sea turtles lay their eggs on the beach one night. All in all - the accommodation, as well as the village and the beach, is perfect for people who, like me, seek peace and quiet. The overall vibe is homey and friendly. There is no loud music, there are no beach bars, there are no watersports - amazing.

Really nice family. Host also works with turtle foundation who care for the turtles and showed us turtles on the beach in the evening. The cabana was really nice and has A/C.

The Cinnabar resort is built entirely with sustainable materials, using a non-contemporary approach to construction. Their environmental design aims to create an experience as close to nature as possible. Additionally, they have the cutest staff members - three puppies!

Cute and comfy cabanas near the beautiful turtle beach. Sri Lanka’s traditional dishes at their restaurant were huge and extremely delicious. The hosts are very nice and careful family.
