It was super clean and cozy. Hosts are lovely. They guide well and are so warm. Loved the place as it is beautifully thought and created. Very clean rooms.

We really liked it here. The owners and people that work here are so friendly and kind. They allowed us early check in and late check out. They went out of their way to accommodate us. If you're a budget traveller, you'll love this place. It's located on a quiet side of the island far from construction noise. It's so near to the ocean we could hear the waves from our room (we slept with the windows open) it was blissful. The breakfast was a basic and delicious island breakfast consisting of toast, eggs, sausages, fruit, coffee and fruit juice. It was a 5 min walk to the bikini beach on the other side of the island. They offer a sandbank tour and if you want to do any other tours like seeing dolphins, sea turtles or swimming with stingrays or sharks, you can organise that easily on the island. We liked this island because we only came for a weekend and it was one of the easiest places to catch a speed boat early in the morning on Friday and return at 4pm on the Sunday. This island is peaceful and quiet and you won't feel crowded at all like some of the other islands in the area for example. We recommend!

The hotel is the best on the island, just sand foot on the bikini beach. The staff is really friendly and welcoming. Rooms really clean, great airconditioning. The food was also really nice, especially the grilled fish and tuna steak. Looking forward to be back!

There are so many great things to say about this place. Mainly the staff: Cody and Chote were always around with warm smiles and happy to accommodate any of our requests. Vide, one of the owners, came to pick us up at the airport on a private speed boat. The place is a cute little retreat on a tiny island. There were about four restaurants, and they served a variety of things, but they all had the same menu. We got the top room which had an amazing view of the ocean. Everything worked! WiFi, shower, fan, comfortable bed. It's so nice when a place invests the money in a good mattress!!! Breakfast was served daily on the deck outside our room. Though you're on a tiny island, Vide can arrange a variety of activities with the boat companies. Being a small island, it's very quiet.

It was a wonderful experience to be a customer of tropic tree hotel. The level of employee involvement was at a very high level, especially Mr. Sohel and Mr. Rohitha. Thanks to Mr. Sohel, we went on a private boat trip for a very favorable price. We highly recommend this hotel! We hope to come back!

A perfect Anniversary getaway! On arrival at Gulhi pier we were greeted by a very friendly BWV member of staff to help with luggage and only walked a few mins to the other side of the island where the hotel was . We were welcomed with 2 lovely fresh coconut drinks then taken to our room where our bed was beautifully made up to read a very special Anniversary message together with a delicious celebration cake - what a lovely surprise ! Beach walk villa is moments away from a gorgeous sandy ( bikini!) beach with turquoise clear sea and only moments away from restaurants /shops / pier and little further up the a place to do a bit of snorkelling ! We definitely recommend BWV in Gulhi - a lovely place to stay on a small island for a few days ! Sarah and Lee
