Situated on the beachfront in Mitoyo, 瀬戸内ゲストハウス「タイヨウとうみ」 features a garden and free WiFi. Guests can enjoy sea views. The beach is just a 3-minute walk from the property. Ayako is such a wonderful and lovely host. She welcomes you like family, and ensures that you are well taken care of. She gives great recommendations on what to do and eat in the vicinity. The nearby onsen is also affordable and luxurious with many different kinds of baths. She cooks the most delicious home style food, which is oh so comforting. One of the most enjoyable meals of my trip. She even offered Mandarin oranges which were grown in her garden (I hope she enjoyed the Kochi persimmon which I gifted her!). Haku (her dog) and cat are both friendly and adorable. The room is spacious, and the house is conveniently close to Chichibugahama beach so that you can watch the sunset/sunrise. If I visit the area again, I would not hesitate to stay here once more. Thank you for making me feel home while away from home! :)

Offering a shared lounge and sea view, sana mane is situated in Naoshima, 600 metres from Naoshima Pavillion and less than 1 km from Sumiyoshi-taisha Temple. We had friends that recommended another property that was booked. We are so glad, because we found Sana Mane!! Our Glamp Dome had water front sunrise views a private dining bunker that was the best meal experience of our vacation, our host was so friendly and helped with everything from sauna, meals and transpo. An intimate property close to nature yet high in creature comforts. This is a 10 minute walk from the ferry terminal and very private. You will love it. And yes, there's a bathroom and heat in your dome-- it's better than a hotel room!

Hoshi no sora in Shodoshima has a garden and a terrace. Built in 1975, renovated in July 2018, the property is within 7 km of Twenty Four Eyes Movie Studio. Sakate Port is just a 4-minute's walk away.... The accommodation was comfortable and the offered breakfast delicious. The guests change often, giving an opportunity to meet with many interesting people. Just around the corner there is a nice beach that is quite secluded from the main town, often being empty.

Amazing little apartment outside of miyanoura and in walking distance to Benesse art site. Perfect, very thoughtful service and stunning rooftop terrace, absolutely recommended!
