I moved here from an other place and i was very happy when i arrived! The bedroom and bathroom where very clean, the shower is warm and there is a big bed. The location is also really good there is a vieuw over the rice fields and across the street is a nice restaurant. It is just a 10/15 minute walk to the rest of the restaurants. The owner was really nice as well and he even gave me a ride to the harbour when i was leaving.

Set in Tuk Tuk, Leokap Homestay has free WiFi throughout and a garden to relax. Rooms are fitted views and a private bathroom with a shower. Guests can enjoy daily breakfast. The rooms are clean and food at the restaurant is spot on! Also the bed was super comfy!

We stayed for a total of 9 nights in Romlan; in two different rooms. Where to start with the things we liked? First of all, the staff of Romlan is very friendly and helpful. They even helped us with calling and getting to the local pharmacy to get some medicines for sickness (one of us got ill and they called the pharmacy that was closed due to the Sunday Service and they opened up the pharmacy for us). The food and drinks of their own restaurant were amazing and very tasty & variable; good price value as well! The location of Romlan is also good: the boat drops you off at their pier and all the things in Tuk Tuk are on walking distance. The views from the rooms and restaurant are amazing. If you want to hire a scooter bike you can without signing for anything and you don't have to fuel up the tank (when you get the bike, the tank is full). A free refill water station is available and also some tips & tricks about the surroundings of Romlan and the transport options from Lake Toba to other places like Berastagi or Medan. Definitely recommended to book your stay at Romlan when you are looking for a place to stay in Tuk Tuk.

But the best thing is the people running this place. They are the nicest most caring and did everything they could to help us after we had been in a traffic accident! I am so grateful for all your help!!

We didn't eat at the restaurant - we discovered Coffee2go and Rosalie's as per a previous review, and didn't want to eat anywhere else! Rented a good scooter here for 100k.
