Very pleasant stay, everything was super clean and modern, It had everything for a comfortable stay. I loved the local atmosphere, that Indian busy street vibe is 50m away alot of eating places and shops, market all very close many attractions nearby. The staff was nice and humble, the property owner was a nice gentleman, with good manners and excellent communication skills. They also accept card payment. I wanted to extend but unfortunately it was already fully booked. I highly recommend this property!

The host family and staff were very helpful and informative, and made sure that we were well looked after. The property is a slice of paradise in an otherwise hectic city. Lovely grounds, delightful pool, old-world charm, and a fascinating history connected to the family who still own the property and manage the guesthouse. I loved the communal dinner, which was delicious and varied every night and a great way to connect with the other guests. The Kahn Market is nearby and a good place for shopping, with FabIndia and Anokhi being my favorites, plus there are many good restaurants there. It was easy during the day to catch a rickshaw by just standing outside the gate. The guesthouse can be a little challenging to find at night, so keep the phone number handy. I also liked that it was a quick taxi ride to the airport. The owner is a wonderful hostess and the staff is friendly and helpful. Shukla, the owner, is a fount of knowledge. There was a very ill traveler staying at the guesthouse and she tended to her like a mother, even late into the night. Truly a caring person, and she and her daughter make one feel at home and welcomed. I can see why many expats return time and time again when in New Delhi. I stayed on both ends of my trip and look forward to staying again.
