A recently renovated bed and breakfast set in the centre of Ostend, Villa Stella Maris is a 3-star accommodation close to Oostende Beach and Mariakerke Beach. There is a private entrance at the bed and breakfast for the convenience of those who stay. The bed and breakfast has family rooms. The hostess does her utmost to make your stay memorable. We booked a room of 5 (2 adults and 3 kids) with breakfast. The room was excellent: clean, large, very nice bathroom. The breakfast was fantastic with plenty of options: pain au chocolat, pistolets, toast, cereal and a wide variety of spreads, like homemade jam, charcuterie and fruits!! We'd definitely stay there again if we were to go back to Ostend.

The hotel is very pretty, cozy and what we enjoyed most: close to the beach. It's a 10-15 minute stroll to the bakery (if you don't want their offered breakfast) and the restaurant food is AMAZING! We even got a welcome drink because we were staying at the hotel, which was a nice touch.

The homely ambience, quirkiness, room decor, honesty bar, comfortable bed & the on site parking, but above all the breakfast choice & presentation. The proprietor was warm & welcoming & checked our requirements daily. The location is excellent for close proximity to the trams & facilities, whilst being quiet at night.

This beachfront property offers access to free WiFi and free private parking. Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with a sun terrace. Tatiana gives everything to make her guests feel comfortable. The breakfast is enormous and full of details that show her attention to the guest. In addition she'd also make you eggs of all styles or (or: AND;)) waffles with all sorts of toppings if you like. She even arranged to get some non-milk products to make a vegan cappuccino. Also it really deserves extra mentioning - Tatiana rode her bike to the bakery every morning to get all the fresh baked goods. We had the smallest room but we felt absolutely cosy with it. It has a black ceiling and mirrored wall, while the bed is a comfortable mattress upon a higher podium. The small window allowed a view of the sea through a gap of the buildings by the coast. Little details like her putting the guests name on each door make it so more friendly and add to the coziness. Tatiana puts attention into the interior design of the house (black gold white is the common theme :)). There was a hairdryer and a water boiler in the room. In the shared dining room/breakfast area there is also a capsule coffee machine (free), a water dispenser and an honesty bar for some sodas, beer and wine.

Perfect localisation, close to station, city center and the beach. The owners- such a nice, helpful people! Great contact. We was there for the weekend with two little kids and I must say that it was the best appartement from all what we rented on the seaside. A lot of thanks for the owners, we come back to your appartement as quick as possible. We highly recommend it!

What's not to like? Everything is way beyond my expectations and Michaél has gone above and beyond to ensure that my stay has been relaxing, stress-free and extremely comfortable. He picked me up at the station and took time to explain everything and answer questions etc. Breakfast was more than sufficient with enough left for lunch and snacks through the day! The bike is a really lovely extra. Thank you Michaél!

This house is modern, spacious, well equipped, very clean and the owners are especially welcoming. It is ideally situated in the local area for trips to the coast, Plopsaland, local supermarket and tram services links along the lovely Belgium coast.
