This family-run property is 400 metres off Route 1 and 15 km from Selfoss. It offers free Wi-Fi and a terrace. Homemade bread, jam and pastries are served for breakfast. The hosts were amazing. This was my first guesthouse experience and it exceeded my expectations. We got there and it was already dark. We noticed that the northern lights could be out and the hosts did whatever they could to help us see them. It was great! We were the only 2 people booked for the night but when we woke up there was this massive and delicious breakfast. I was astounded by all the different kinds of food they offered. I would stay here all nights if we weren’t going to drive around Iceland.

The fire kept us very warm all night long. It was pre-made by the owner which was very convenient. We brought food for the fridge to cook which was simple and easy. We will be back for more northern lights when we plan for better weather.

Objekat Nyibaer studio apartment je smešten na 48 km od znamenitosti Nacionalni park Thingvellir, a u ponudi ima smeštaj sa besplatnim WiFi internetom i besplatnim privatnim parkingom. amazing room decor..updated..had long mirror which my wife loved for her makeup.loved the kitchen. had a washer and dryer...the bathroom was well upgraded bathroom beautiful..comfortable lounging couch with foot chair...TV updated with Netflix and Disney etc..the bed was huge and super comfortable..has fridge and stove..only place in iceland we stayed with 2 firm and big pillows.. the best part was the location..we saw Northern lights on our last stay!!!!!!!!

Rick the owner is very friendly and looked after us very well. The yurt had everything you would need and the bathroom outside was warm and nicely decorated. The breakfast was delivered to our door at exactly the time we asked and it was amazing, fresh eggs from the owners chickens, warm bread and much more! it was definitely one of our favourite stays in Iceland! Rick gave us very clear directions so it was very easy to find.

Sigga made a great effort to source gluten free food for one of us and provided a great variety of foods at breakfast. Sigga gave us the gluten free food, that remained after breakfast, to take with us.The bed was extremely comfortable and the bedding was high quality. There was a TV in the room and ample towels and other supplies. The room and bathroom were well heated. The bathroom was large and had excellent supplies of whatever you might need. Sigga was very hospitable and friendly. She told us about the area and was knowledgeable about Icelandic history.
