Pearl ' s Homestay Matale มีทำเลที่ตั้งอยู่ห่างจากศูนย์การค้า Kandy City Center Shopping Mall 27 กม. Breakfast was amazing. Pearl and Ranjan were excellent hosts nothing was too much trouble. They organised a tuk driver for me and Ranjan even came to the train station on my departure. The room was perfect and the bed very comfortable. I would happily recommend this homestay - a perfect retreat.

Riverston Nature Villa ตั้งอยู่ในทำเลที่เดินทางไปศูนย์การค้า Kandy City Center Shopping Mall ได้ใน 41 กม. The super friendly and very communicative owner gave good tips for hiking and showed us a nice waterfall nearby. Our highlight was that he organized a night-out in the village, showing us around the rice fields and the temple and serving us amazing local food in the village in the traditional way. If you are looking for a great local experience in the nature you came to the right place!

First of all, the way to get there already starts the feeling of adventure. A 4×4 vehicle picks you up for an off-road experience. When you arrive an intimate and dedicated staff greets you, the hotel manager welcomes you and explains everything that awaits you while the rest make sure your luggage reaches your tent. The tent has a private toilet and shower with hot water all the time. And their hiking trails are just crazy! The guide who joins you is dedicated and full of knowledge and will take you to magical and stunning places!

Stayed for 3 nights and this was our favourite place during our Sri Lanka trip. Homely feel and amazing food and service. Enjoyed the library and endless cups of excellent tea. Our room was comfortable and clean, lots of hot water. Wifi worked very well in the library area. Tea tasting was interesting and some nice walks in the area. Thanks to Dave and the staff for a memorable stay :)

Situated in Matale, Palapathwela Ross Estate Junction , The Inn at Matale" provides comfortable accommodation for local and foreign travelers alike. Everything was great, especially the cappuccino ! Thanx that we were allowed to leave our bicycles in the lobby during the night.

Plantation Retreat is tucked away in Kandy, just 400 metres from Patanpaha Bus Stand. It welcomes guests with an outdoor swimming pool and free WiFi access. Sarath and his family are the most welcoming and amiable hosts we had on our journey in Sri Lanka. The lodging is on top of a hill and inside a plantation so you are all surrounded by beautiful nature. As part of the plantation Sarath and his family are growing their own coffee and spices from which Sarath's wife cooked a most delicious breakfast and dinner. We enjoyed our stay at Plantation Retreat very much and will never forget the welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. We can very much recommend a stay here.

Hatale Tea Estate Bungalow is set amidst lush tea plantations just 1 km from Hatale Tea Centre. This elegantly furnished property features an outdoor swimming pool and free Wi-Fi access at all areas. The view is breathtaking. Staff was very polite and helpful. Raju, the caretaker, cooked sone delicious meals for us. Try hiking to the mini worlds end at the top of hatale for one of the best view points around.

Overlooking stunning nature views, Strathisla Guest House features an outdoor swimming pool and barbeque facilities. Guests can also enjoy free Wi-Fi access at all areas of the property. One of the most memorable stays on our trip. The staff’s kindness and generosity truly is above and beyond. The place itself is incredible comfortable and beautiful and the food is delicious! There’s nothing not to love.

We have booked this place for our first night in Sri Lanka. The owner met us on arrival. As it was everything new to us, we had a good few questions and owner couldn't be more than helpful. He advised us on the places we can visit, where to exchange money etc. Communications been very clear. The house is located within working distance to the very busy town, but in the very quiet area, so we had a very good sleep 😁 If you are looking to visit Matale and looking to stay near by highly recommend to stay at this property 👍 This was a first time we saw the monkeys 🤣🤣
