The staff team are exceptional and nothing is too much trouble, they’re always on hand to assist. Everything is perfect at Tribe Yala. It is an incredible and unique glamping experience. The “tents” (it is more of a 5 star hotel suite) are clean, spacious, fully equipped (private wifi and AC) and comfortable. We also had a private jacuzzi. Besides, the food is exceptional (one of the best we have had in Sri Lanka). We did the one day safari and it was certainly one of our favorite days of our entire trip. You get to see many animals while being accompanied by a wildlife specialist (ours was Kusar and he is very knowledgeable and friendly). Staff from the hotel met us inside the national park to bring us a delicious Sri Lankan lunch. Finally, the staff of the hotel is amazing. Very well located, closed to the Yala National Park (but not near the park entrance). It is in the middle of nowhere, so you can see the stars during the warm night. Swimming pool in the middle of nature like the eco Lodge itself. They serve local food, but you can also get continental breakfast. It can happen to see elephant if you are very lucky.
