Situated in Fenchihu, 30 km from Wufeng Park and 31 km from Jiao Lung Waterfall, Drizzle Tea House offers a terrace and air conditioning. Incredible experience. Dinner and breakfast were high-end restaurant quality- nine dishes at dinner and six for breakfast, all delicious and beautifully plated. Tea ceremony was lovely. Staff were very helpful and spoke a little English or used an automated translator.

Located within 26 km of Alishan Forest Railway and 29 km of Wufeng Park, Alishan Hinoki B&B provides rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Alishan. The B&B is located above a tea shop, the rooms are beautifully made with wood, very comfortable, clean and spacious. Large comfortable bed in our room, hot shower is great. Bathroom products are all l’occitane and replenished daily. Lots of local tea and coffee available in the room and communal area. We took the HSR from Taipei to Chiayi then rented a car from the station, convenient parking in front of the property. The bus stop to Alishan is also directly opposite the b&b so very convenient whether your driving or arriving by public transport. Really lovely and friendly hosts as well, showed us around the tea production process and tea drying which happens on the roof! There are also restaurants and convenience stores near by.

Boasting mountain views, Rainy Pleasure provides accommodation with patio, around 7.4 km from Meishan Taiping Old Street. Clean, good location with a hiking trail just nearby. The manager is a great host who can teach you about tea. The view from the balcony is wonderful for the sunrise coming up over the mountains.

Family home with 4 guest rooms. Excellent hosts with attention to every detail to ensure comfort of the guests. We arrived late (after dinner) and it was dark and raining heavily. Hosts came out to greet us with umbrellas and took our luggage to the rooms. Breakfast next morning was excellent and we could not finish. Host packed the balance with extra homemade bread for us to eat during our journey. House and rooms are amazing, comfortable and luxurious. Room rate is steep, but highly recommend stay for special occasion(s).

The place is not too far away from restaurants and convenience stores - since most occupants will drive anyway, but at the same time is quiet and peaceful at night and in the morning. The location is quite good. The staff was quite nice too, and the homemade breakfast was enjoyable.

The host family shows great hospitality during our stay. They did not only treat us famous Alishan tea, but also gave us a ride to another sightseeing point when we said we were in a tight schedule. The whole family is very nice! 😆

Riley Ming Xuan B&B, a property with a shared lounge, is located in Meishan, 21 km from Meishan Taiping Old Street, 26 km from Jiao Lung Waterfall, as well as 39 km from Wufeng Park. It is so peaceful here. The area is stunning with lovely walks looking at the tea plantation fields. Owners are lovely although we communicated solely via Google Translate! Beds were comfortable and a great shower.

It is conveniently located, clean and spacious. The owners are friendly, responsive to our message enquiries. Even help us order takeaway breakfast without extra charge early in the morning so we would not miss our ferry. He sent us to the ferry terminal too, which we are very thankful for!
