A very kind couple runs this hotel. It’s beautiful and clean. It’s right on the Camino so very nice access. Breakfast is offered at check-in, but I think you have to ask ahead for cenar.

A small hotel with a beatiful and peaceful garden and terrace. His owner, Juan, made us feel at home, and had the best attentions with us. The food was really good, fresh and abundant, and the rooms fresh and clean. Would definitively recommend this place.
Surrounded by gardens, Quinta de Villanueva is an attractive building dating back to 1908.

Cristina was exemplary! Due to injuries incurred while walking the Camino I was relying on taxis for Hotel door-to-door service. I had communicated with Cristina the day before requesting early check-in and she was so gracious and accommodating. She gave me a room that was worth more than I had paid for. It had a beautiful living area with full windows that allowed me to savor the landscape. Please see pictures.
The hotel was tastefully modernized with an elevator without detracting from its charming decor. My room and bath were lovely.
Breakfast consisted of a wide assortment of goodies: cakes and fruit, meats, cheeses, bread, spreads and cereals.
All in all a delightful stay.

Excellent, family-run hotel, with simple rooms all with balcony views of The Picos and a small subsidiary estuary at the beautiful town of San Vicente. The hotel is positioned right next to the Camino de Santiago del Norte. The owner was more than accommodating in helping me make tea for breakfast, which was very good value.

Stayed here on Camino Lebaniego walk. Kind owners offered a generous meal even as late as 5pm - great for walkers who arrive between Spain's lunch and dinner times. Room had older charm, but clean, comfortable and quiet. Breakfast available at their restaurant with option to buy sandwiches for the road.
We are extremely grateful for their nice accomodation after the place where we had planned to stay was closed with no notice.
Set on the banks of the River Deva, Muriances offers gardens with barbecue facilities and views of the Picos de Europa Mountains. Unquera and Colombres are under 5 minutes’ drive away.

A great option for all peregrinos and a nice change from albergues or a refreshing alternative to hotels or pensions. I am traveling solo but my room could have fit four. I had an entire apartment. The owner was fabulous and prepared a massive breakfast for only me. And early at that! She is very proud of her town and will give you a great history (in Spanish - but she talks slow). She even drove me back to the Camino because the location is a little out of town. Highly recommend - a place to appreciate Spain and escape the Camino bubble…
