Breakfast was the best ever, and eating it on the porch overlooking the Aegean was wonderful. Location was perfect, just around the bend from all the action in the port. Hotel staff was helpful, even carried our bags up the steps. Room was comfortable and clean.

Hotel Effie is in a very central location and most things are just a few minutes away. I walked almost everywhere because things were so close. Right from leaving the ship, the hotel is just a few minutes to reach without a car. The staff was beyond friendly and accommodating and always had an idea for daily activities even when I didn't. I felt cared for and taken care of. The facilities are clean and the surroundings are like a picture from a travel guide. Very peaceful atmosphere and simplistic charm. I would definitely visit again!

I like the location the place and structure design of room and staff attitude and cleanliness of the hotel. Owner Mike is very friendly and very helpful. The room is cleaned every day and all rubbish is taken out. They have good breakfast. Hotel is just a 5 minutes walk to port beach bus station and heart of Patmos night life. Also Historical side cave is only 1,2 km.And if you are fit enough you can walk from cave in trek way up to Chora Monastery and Wind mills.

Skala is delightful, but Patmos overall is incredible.
Skala is delightful, but Patmos overall is incredible. We visited the beautiful village of Chora, the monastery of St John, the windmills, and the spiritual cave of the Apocolypse, where John wrote the book of Revelation in the Bible. All was achieved in one day by taxi from Skala. The entire trip was from the island of Kos by ferry, with a 2 night stay in Skala. Well worth it. Wonderful !! Two beautiful islands in one holiday !!

Visit to monastery amazing. Beach at Kampos very relaxing. Shopping expensive. Plenty of restaurants with lots of choices. Grigos has a lovely restaurant on the shore. Easy to hire a car and can also access most places by bus.

There are many paths that appear to be footpaths but are actually roads. Once you are aware of this, it makes it easier to travel with a scooter, which I recommend. these paths are also great to get around by foot and it is a nice walkable area.

Pleasant, very typical Greek port town, with meandering streets and reasonably restrained tourism. Some great restaurants. Easy access to the famous monastery by bus, and the cave where John supposedly wrote the Book of Revelation; also easy bus access to some great beaches (and some not so great). Well worth a short visit, but not if your preference is for boisterous nightlife.

A very nice compact town with a lovely array of shops, restaurants and bars. Beautiful harbour and a stunning hora above the main town. We were there in the 3rd week of September and the buses were still running. Netia restaurant at the far end of town was our favourite, followed by Pantelis. Best beach accessible by bus was Kampos.

Skala is a lovely place to visit.
Skala is a lovely place to visit. Hiring a car made a difference and we were able to travel around. Stefonos did hire cars and bikes at reasonable price. Would definitely recommend this property.
Owner and his wife very pleasant and accommodating
Armyra Hotel is a perfect place with perfect hosts. Isidoros aims for you to have a perfect stay in Patmos and introduces you to the many beauties and to the rich culture of this jewel island. He cares to each and every detail of your comfort. He is offering a very generous hospitality.
The hotel is close to the center and in a quiet area with beautiful sunsets on the beach.
Great breakfast also on a cool terrace with seaview.
Absolutely clean and cosy, you feel at home in this wonderful place.
evertyhing was really good. Owner Sofia is

min ride or 25 min walk to Skala in a very quiet
place. There are 2 beaches nearby in walking

What a delight. i can’t stress this enough! it is located in the heart of Skala which is where you want to be in Patmos. 100meters from the port. magnificent hotel with an amazing swimming pool. staff are incredibly friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the bus, services and surroundings.
clean room, white linen, white towels and lovely pillows.
breakfast was a lovely large variety.
Manuela is the perfect hostess. She met us in the harbour and walked us through Skala showing us the way and pointing out shops etc we needed to know. Room was spacious with kitchen. We needed an extra pot for cooking and Manuela got us one promptly. Extra + was that we could use the washing machine.
We had a nice place to sit outside in the garden.
The discreetly placed clothes drying rack on the balcony was an excellent touch, that even the best hotels don't realize is an above and beyond touch to add to a guests' stay. Thank you for going above and beyond with recommendations, as well, that only a local would know.
We visited 'Sunset' in early May. Mike and the staff were friendly and helpful - nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was generous, the accommodation spotless. Well located - with easy access to the centre of Skala. Generally, excellent value for money.
Hotel Elia is a nice place to stay in Skala , the "thin part" of Patmos near the port.
The lady that runs Elia is really kind and helpful. The breakfast buffet is complete and can be taken to the nice garden.simple beach is nearby. Recommended
I loved Mr. Jacob, very attentive and helpful, his hotel is very cozy and tastefully decorated, will definitely come back. Very close to the ferry port, 2 minutes walking. Also the main attractions are all at a walking distance.
A clean andcomfortable hotel, very good value for money, with helpful staff. Byzance Hotel is in a narrow lane off the harbour, and a short walk to the busy centre of Skala, the Ferry, and the bus and taxi stations.
Very close to Skala town for travel options and restaurants. Owner was very kind and helpful. Pool was a great addition. Very beautiful and interesting property located opposite a small beach on the edge of town
The room had fresh sheets and towels every morning. The local is absolutely ideal. For the money you can't beat this hotel. I am fully satisfied, highly recommended for those traveling on a budget.
Beautiful and well equipped luxury suites with magnificent views on Skala Harbour. Outstanding service and the most generous owner make it an unforgettable stay on the island of Patmos.
