1-2 days maximum is more than enough. Food their is great and beautiful coffee, but do keep in mind everything is expensive as it is a tourist spot. Otherwise great location to visit. I visited Huka falls and Wairakei terrace hot pools which was an amazing experience.AkashNew Zealand - 10Scored 10

We stayed in a 1bdrm apartment which was the perfect size for our young family of 3. The room was a fantastic size so we could all stay comfortably. The pool and gym is great and very clean, gardens beautifully kept. But the staff are the best thing we think; from front desk to house keeping everyone was very helpful, laid back but attentive, warm, friendly and professional at every exchange. We had an upstairs room (Room 27) with our own private balcony, and views of the lake. The room was very modern, clean and comfortable. The gardens added that unique touch to the motel especially when walking to the indoor pool and spas. The receptionist was lovely and very accommodating.
