We liked everything! We were lucky enough to get an upgrade to a fabulous suite with stunning sea views, but even without that, everything was really good. Very friendly, helpful, and polite staff, great selection, and good quality food at the breakfast buffet. The inside bar is extremely stylish and relaxing with very nice wines and beer for a reasonable price. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and in good condition. The location is perfect, right on the beautiful beaches with a short private pathway down. It is useful to have an indoor as well as an outdoor pool for cooler weather days. There is plenty of free parking in the pleasant grounds. We have stayed at several different places in Alvor, including two other Pestanas, but Alvor Praia Premium is the best by far, and I would happily recommend it.

Room was dirty full of cobwebs. Maid did not clean room for 2 days , bedding is grubby, no storage for your clothes , room looked on to a dirt track , service charge on drinks. Drinks were overpriced. The staff were miserable and did not smile or say good morning, particularly a man at breakfast , after staying at the alvor praia this was a real disappointment, I do not recommend this property

breakfast was very good although maybe after a full week or two a tad monotonous x three days was fine friendly reception & cleaning staff x. comfy beds. great showers x lovely swimming pool with sun beds & pool bar serving delicious snacks x 5 mins walk into centre fantastic x.

Alvor is excellent have been going for many years it is fantastic, beaches are fantastic, room is outstanding.

Excellent staff. Spotlessly clean. A room was provided for me on my day of departure to relax and shower as I wasn't being collected for the airport until 7pm. 24 hr reception which was very good
