I was here long time ago like 2004. It was change a lot and restoration of those magnificent fecade was fabulous. The plaza itself was so mesmerising and so cool to sit with lots of benches around. Small really beautiful city . Very walkable.
Small really beautiful city . Very walkable. Lots of pedestrian areas. The center is large and surprisingly interesting ( for a relatively small city). Ornate churches, a new Catholic Cathedral, a modern imposing synagogue and an older historical one. The Citadel is still in the midsts of restoration, but worthwhile walking. Had a "happy hour" break at Piata8 at the Citadel. Enjoyed typical Romanian food outdoors at "Hanul cu noroc"

One day is enough for Oradea. August 2023 when we were here everywhere is construction. Dusty and old city. Not so many tourists and not a lively city, felt weird. A good point to go to Hungary.

Super breakfast was included. But the stars of this place are the staff! Service is impeccable!!! Nothing is too much, big service with a smile!! The 3 stars should really be 5 stars!!! We will definitely return here…even more than once!!
