Camp Verde is trying to improve the town proper but is hard...
Camp Verde is trying to improve the town proper but is hard to compete with Jerome and Cottonwood. Not much of a bargain and more of a drive. The historic fort is not worth the time. The river is better viewed nearer Cottonwood.

It is centrally situated to quite a few interesting tourist attractions and moderately priced. We went on the Verde Canyon train, to Montezuma castle and well, Sedona, Jerome, and many more incredible places. We ate at Denny’s. good food. Great service

Reservation was made for two.
Reservation was made for two. When we checked in, only one key was made available. We requested one for each of us. They WOULD NOT release a second key. Their response to our request was they were running short on keys! We returned a few hours later (after dinner and gambling), and tried again at the desk with another person and again, said they were too short on keys to request a second key. We checked in for my husband's birthday and were very frustrated. On a good note, rooms were very clean; beds comfortable and quiet!AAnonymous - 10Scored 10

Stayed at Cliff Castle Casino for a quick getaway weekend. Everyone and everything was amazing!! Had lunch at the buffet, food choices and desserts were great Had dinner at Storytellers, a true dining experience!!! From check-in to leaving, wonderful staff, especially the valet service. A great "jumping off" point.
A great "jumping off" point. The location offers more reasonable hotel rates. Copper Canyon Inn was a great place to stay. Great staff and clean remodeled rooms. Indoor pool and hot tub(but was closed due to the renovations) The location is amazing, Denny's, taco bell, mcd's, Burger king, and dairy queen are all within walking distance. I must say...we loved that Denny's! What a great staff and fast service. The food was excellent 1 exit over was Cliff Castle Casino..debbieUnited States of America

Andrew is knowledgeable about the hotel as well as the surrounding area and offered helpful suggestions. Room key offers 10 percent discounts to a list of local restaurants and a brewery. The hotel is not new, however, the rooms and other areas were very clean and well kept. Liked the 24 hour complimentary hot/cold beverage center but did not try the included light breakfast. All staff were great.

Hotel was beautiful. I won over 800.00 dollars and it was my daughter Hannah's first time ever to the casino. The staff is smashing amazing. The margaritas was over the top. Thank you cliff castle. You were better than Disney land. All my dreams came true.
