Big room, clean, great hosts!
We chose this hotel for the number of beds and the cost. The hosts even included 2 Yooper bars to welcome us. We did the Puctured Rocks Sunset Spray Falls cruise at 7:45 pm and wanted a room with enough beds for our family of 5. We had to drive a little extra but it was worth it. The hotel owners were great. We arrived after 10pm and they had texted us a code that morning so we could get into our room. We left the next morning but she had sightseeing ideas for us if we were going to be staying. You can tell they love their hotel and take excellent care of their guests.

We didn’t do much exploring in Chatham but we did visit the little grocery/ convenience store. The people were friendly and even the neighbors of the store were friendly. I only wish I would’ve tried the ice cream across the street from the store.

Chatham is a small town near Munising.
Chatham is a small town near Munising. I stayed during a snow storm and didn't want to travel far. There is a co-op store with everything you need. I spent most of my weekend in the Chatham Pub. The atmosphere was very friendly, clean, and the food is decent. I had a very good time snowed in a very small town.

A small town with few restaurants, no gas station or convenience store for a quick coffee or rest stop. There was a small store with gas a few miles away with amazing Yupeer pastries. This town looks right for the millennial invasion of woke living although the NRA has left it's stamp in businesses in nearby towns. Lovers of nature will be in heaven.

Our rooms were immaculately clean and very comfortable, The location was quiet and peaceful with manicured lawns and landscaping. If you are lucky on a rare occasion you might hear the nearby cows at MSU's Research Farm across the road "sing" as they change pastures. Clear instructions and communication. I met the owner and she asked if we needed any activity suggestions. The rooms were clean, large and the beds were very comfortable. The price was reasonable. I would definitely stay here again. Au Train beach is about 15 minutes away---lovely beach! Centrally located.
