Great little town.
Great little town. Looks like a great place to go fishing with the Lake near by the hotel. My son would love that on our next trip down to the area. I ate at Diamond's Family Restaurant and the food was so good. I highly recommend.

I was born and raised in Decatur, so it holds a special...
I was born and raised in Decatur, so it holds a special place for me. I still have lots of family in and around town. That being said, if you aren't visiting for work, a school/college reunion or visiting family as I do, there isn't a lot of tourist attraction. Decatur is doing its best to recover from lots of industry leaving, the pandemic and all it altered, and the entire change home shopping creates.

I really enjoyed my stay in Decatur, especially the Mueller...
I really enjoyed my stay in Decatur, especially the Mueller museum and the Staley museum. Everyone I met in restaurants and other places were very friendly. There is a lot of history in Decatur and I will be coming back for another visit.randyUnited States - 8.0Scored 8.0

Decatur does not have a distinctive overall character, so look for those gems, like Starships Billiards & The Enterprise Grill, where the menu is full of Star Trek references, or Diamond's Family Restaraunt, which is a favorite with the older set.
