The view is great, friendly staff, clean, comfortable. We did not see any whales, not even on a whale tour so that might be a trick to lure tourists. But we saw seals and others in the harbor.

We cooked our on breakfast. The kitchen was adequate but the kitchen sink left faucet handle needs to be replaced. The dryer down in the basement didn't work and the tub in the shower leaked. The home was over priced and needs a lot of repairs.

The cottage is in a great location! Close access to the beach, down quite a big hill but drove down and parked. We could see the ocean from the deck and hear it when sitting at night. Quiet neighborhood with barely any traffic.
It was a perfect little place for 2 adults and a child. Central location to other areas and a quick drive for shopping.
Wifi would not work at first but contacted the host and they said to reset the modem and router. Worked perfectly after that.
The large deck was a very nice area to sit in the evening and our toddler enjoyed playing on it.
It was very clean and smelled good. We didn't notice any strange smells. It smelled like the ocean :)

Depoe Bay is one of my favorite places to visit.
Depoe Bay is one of my favorite places to visit. Love the town, excursion options, museum, restaurants, stores. I spread my dad's ashes on the ocean there - as it was also his favorite place - using a service located in the harbor. Have a memorial plaque on the wall in town. Also like the access to other options in the the area, Newport, lighthouses, Nye area.AAnonymous - 10Scored 10
It was fun.
It was fun. Lots of shops & restaurants to chose from or see. You can whale watch in the town or sign up for a boat trip. We always eat at The Sticks (Fish & Chips) when we go to Depoe Bay. Small place right in the middle of the shops but excellent fish & chips & really good price. There are other good seafood restaurants there as well. Traffic does get busy later in the day but there's additional public parking on the side streets. Lincoln City & Newport are both close to Depoe Bay. Depoe Bay is located between the 2 towns. Lots to see in both of those towns too plus a casino in Lincoln City. Fun to go here!

Honestly, everything was amazing as always. The guests were a little rowdy next to us. But that's not really the hotel's issue. I've been there for other times and never had a problem. So overall. I will be coming back here again next time.

Depo bay is right on the ocean.
Depo bay is right on the ocean. It has great little shops to browse .Depoe bay has lots of on street parking .You can go fishing and whale watching and come back and have a nice dinner in one of the restaurants.Colleen - 10Scored 10

Depoe Bay is an amazing little town - great view of the ocean and just watching the whales in the bay is mesmerizing! If you get a chance, go on a fishing trip or whale watching with Dockside Charters - they are great people to work with! Had a good meal at The Sea Hag with friendly wait staff, and picked up some caramel corn at a little shop just across from the bay. Look forward to my return trip next year!Nickell

The hotel room was very cozy and quaint. The complimentary juices and pastries every morning were really nice, they even gave us some on the day we checked out! Usually hotels stop services/gestures like that on your checkout day. The check in and checkout process was contactless which made it very convenient. The staff responded to our requests properly. The hotel is located close to a grocery store and a few restaurants. The room had a microwave and a small fridge together with a coffee machine but no utensils. We didn't try the pool. There is an easy access to the beach, and at the reception you can find the tides schedule for the season.
