For the price per night you expect at least better room than what I got. No stopper at sink faucet, carpet was burned at 2 different spots (big burns) Management did nothing. Expected some discount at least

The people there and in the surrounding towns were very nice...
The people there and in the surrounding towns were very nice. Andy's, in Highland Falls(next town north) had some of the best food. I will definitely be back. There is hiking at Bear Mountain Inn and peddle boats. Just an awesome experience. Easy access to Manhattan. Took the train at Garrison to Grand Central Station. Beautiful Train ride. The West Point Museum and campus tour are worth checking out.

The staff were nice and helpful and I felt very welcome. The room I was staying in was nice, spacious and clean (a bit old though). The breakfast was good and tasty as well, not the widest selection, but it had everything that was needed and even hot cinnamon buns.
