I WOULD IGNORE THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS.
On arrival we were met but a relatively small queue and it didn’t take long to get served. We were greeted by a lovely lady called Selka who upgraded our room to a King. We were also only charged £100 deposit instead of the standard £50 per day. Note you get this back pending no issues with the room.
I read loads of reviews before we went to NYC and people are slating the rooms. I’m not sure what you want from the middle of Times Square without paying an absolute fortune. Yes the rooms are dated and have issues but you sleep and shower in them that’s it. The beds are comfy and they’re cleaned daily.
If you’re looking for somewhere to stay for a short break I can’t recommend the place highly enough.

Personal was very pleasant. They wish to help with all the questions: baggage, airport taxi. It was free coffee and tea, which was cool when I arrived.

The Belvedere Hotel is extremely well-located (three blocks from Times Square, five from the Rockfeller Centre, 10 from Central Park) and still quiet and tranquil. No problems with street noise at all (we were at the 15th floor). The room is ample (so as the bathroom) and comfortable (so as the matress). Ar conditioning is nice also (no smells, little noise). There is plenty of space to the luggages in the room. You will not be tripping over them. The cup of coffee in the morning, along with the cereal bar, in the hotel lounge are very handy to get you up until you find some breakfast to eat. Rooms are well cleaned.
Located right in the heart of Manhattan, this hotel is just 1 minute's walk from Times Square and within 5 minutes' walk of Central Park and Columbus Circle.
