Great location outside Tropic close to Bryce Canyon with terrific views. Spotless apartment clearly lovingly looked after by the owners who live on the floor above the apartment. Well provided with all needed to cook with lots of extras provided. And was special to see the house through our binoculars from Bryce Point in the National Park.

Self check-in allowed us the flexibility be detoured when we saw a nice hike or vista! Check in was easy, communication was excellent. Accommodations were clean and very comfortable. The location is an easy drive to Bryce canyon and because you are in town, there are so many choices for dining! Food nearby was good - we especially liked the pizza place and Rustlers!

Very small town, nothing much here at all - the big draw is Bryce Canyon Nat'l Park, which is a short drive away. We were only here three days to visit the park, so it wasn't that bad. The price of the room was the big draw; we could have stayed closer to the park but at twice the price. The idea of our own cabin was appealing. Three or four little restaurants in town. The place is clean and quiet and everyone we ran into was pleasant. Bring a book or iPad or something for your evenings.

Although a lot of the shops and restaurants were closed for the season. Everyone seemed to be very friendly and the pizza place we ate at was very good.
Clark's store has everything you need for hiking, dinner or a quick snack. Really good coffee

Such a cute little quaint town.
Such a cute little quaint town. There isn't much, but it's great. A few little quaint restaurants, and a gas station, and it's just adorable. Highly recommend starting at Bryce Valley Lodging, mini cabins, little personal adorable ones! You won't be disappointed! Great fun.

Tropic was just a short drive to Bryce Canyon and all the hiking. We enjoyed the coffee shop nearby (Bryce Canyon Coffee) and the restaurant that had live music (Showdowns Restaurant) in the evenings! We were there in early May 2023 and the weather was perfect, 35 to 45 degrees in the morning and 80's at the hottest.

Tropic is a great town being about 20 minutes from Bryce Canyon. My partner and I stayed at Bryce Canyon Log Cabins. With many other activities in the area such as ATVs or electric bicycles, Bryce Wildlife Outfitters is the place to go for ATVing. For Dinner I’d recommend Cowboys Smokehouse Cafe and Arriba Mexican Grill. For coffee we went to Bryce Canyon Coffee Co. Inside the park there is dining at Bryce Canyon Lodge, we ate at the buffet for breakfast.

Spent 1 night here as a stop over.
Spent 1 night here as a stop over. Our accommodation was fine but Tropic itself is limited and not helped by the strictly enforced Utah rule of not having a beer without food. In the restaurant this was very odd and we couldn't have a second beer because we hadn't ordered enough food!
The room was very clean, comfortable, and had a good sized bathroom. The bed was comfy and the host was kind enough to provide two waters, two granola bars, and two suckers in the shape of a Bryce Canyon Hoodoo. There was plenty of space for us to park our truck and side by side as well. The view from the hotel was beautiful! We enjoyed the red rock mountains outside and were able to ride our side by side into the mountains just up the road. I would love to stay here again!
The B&B was very nice. The rooms were large and comfy with all the comforts of home. We had access to the kitchen and used the washing machine and dryer. The best part was having breakfast prepared by Gabe. Both days the breakfast was yummy and made to order. If ever in the area would definitely stay here.
The location was perfect. Only 20mins to the park and the town of Tropic had several restaurants, post office and small grocery store.

Small, log-styled cabin that had everything we needed. Well decorated in small town western motif. Mountain scenes outside front door were beautiful. Ten miles from Bryce Canyon National Park and other nearby vacation/hiking spots. Adequate number of small town restaurants nearby. Definitely recommend.
Great BnB, well equipped and with a lovely family managing it. Thanks for the tip on doing the tropic trail (we combined it with a little bit of the queen's garden trail and then looped back with the horse path - great views without the crowds! Close to the park and there's also a good BBQ place in town
Well maintained property. Water was hot when we needed it to be, and the beds were clean and comfortable. Each day when we returned from our hikes, the beds were made and towels refreshed. That cabin feeling with nearby convenient grocery store and restaurant, and gas.
Bybees was the perfect location for what we came to see. Check in process was simple, the gentleman (wish I had got his name) was very informative about what to see in Bryce Canyon. He even told us about Tropic and places to eat !!
Liked the old-country style cabins v. hotel. Decent restaurant on the premises - had dinner there.
Enjoyed sitting out front in the evening. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom facilities just fine. Friendly office staff.
Gorgeous accommodations; very spacious. Ac works (though I was dumb and didn’t turn off eco setting until later so would keep turning off). Shower is small but water pressure was good. Close to Bryce Canyon.
We stayed here in Tropic for our 2-day visit to Bryce Canyon. Tropic is a small town with restaurants that are close to the location of the house. It was a great place to stay for our family of 5!
Location was ideal for Bryce Canyon and other canyons. Tropic was great. House was spacious, well equipped, washing machine and drier great. Price was good.
