Pretty far from the full moon party if that’s why you’re going but steps away is basically a private beach with great restaurants. Absolutely beautiful. And quiet! Loved staying here.

These villas are absolutely incredible. They are very private and ours had a lovely view of the hills and sea. The pool is perfectly sized for a family of 4 and although not heated was a very warm. We stayed in a two bed villa which was brilliantly laid out and gave us our own kids/adult spaces. The air con was amazing too as it was very hot on certain days. One of the best things about this place is the staff. Julianee is such a wonderful host and couldn't do enough for us. She happily ferried us to and from the village every day and organised day trips for us and taxis when we wanted to go further afield. Also - the breakfasts are incredible, especially the coffee which is better than any coffee I have ever had in my life. The small village is a ten minute walk away and is like a movie set. Not only does it all look beautiful but the restaurants are all really nice and cheap. We also ate on the beach at Buri Rasa a few times which was nice but our favourite place was Rasta Baby - a really cool bar with a tree house style restaurant serving delicious food. All in all I think Baan View is the best possible place you could stay in this area and definitely the best value for money. We have stayed at the Anantara here before which (although a better location in the middle of all the action) is nowhere near as nice as Baan View, gives you way less space and is about 4 times the price. ps - don't go to the Elephant ''sanctuary''near to the villa - they were chained up and looked utterly miserable and idiotic tourists were riding on their backs which they clearly didn't enjoy as they were clinging onto the railings desperately trying to not have to walk until the person in charge banged them on the head with a sharp spear. Awful place.

The place itself is perfect. The room is spacious and the bathroom is huge and clean. The AC works well and the bed is big and comfortable. Absolute gem of this place is the little private pool. Amazing way to cool down after a long day of trekking. And that’s still not the best part. The best part is the owner who will bend over backwards to help you or fulfill any need you may have. Tom is the kindest person in the world and speaks impecable English so was able to support us on very specific medical matters.

Beautiful villa in a quieter part of Koh Phangan, this was the perfect escape for our own slice of heaven. Modern and comfortable, Stav was a great host - looked after us for bike hire and organising taxis.

It was private, quiet, very comfortable and clean. The kitchenette was very handy with all the necessary. The mattress very pleasant. 5min walk from the sea. Very close to a delicious Italian restaurant, super market, bike rentals, fruit market

REAL HIDEAWAY! if You want to disapear for 4-6 days this place is for You! two level luxury villa hide inside of jungle. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms, big livingroom , nice and clean swimming pool. Car or scooter 6-8 minutes and You are in center of village, 7-eleven, food courts and shops. Road is on first time can be a little chalange , but if You know how to ride a scooter You can handle.
