A recently renovated holiday home set in Reykjahlíð, Myvo The Studio apartment at Geiteyjarströnd 4 features a garden. Such a lovely cosy apartment with windows all round and overlooking Lake Myvatn. It was the perfect place to relax and hope to see the Northern Lights from the big balcony outside. The place was thoughtfully designed as open plan with nice touches such as candles and rugs. The underfloor heating was very efficient and plenty of kitchenware plus oven, stovetop, microwave, washing machine etc. We had looked at slightly cheaper options nearby but I think it was worth paying a little extra for this one. Would highly recommend!

Skútustadir Guesthouse sijaitsee maatilalla Mývatn-järven etelärannalla. Majoituspaikkaan kuuluu jaettu keittiö/lounge, ja sieltä on vuoristonäköala. The family has a door separates two rooms, this was exceeded our expectations, the breakfast was delicious, and you can pack your own sandwichs with very reasonable prices, the ice cream from the farm house is the best we had. The staff is very friendly. The best value for money accommodation we had in Iceland

The house was very cosy and felt like at home! It has a beautiful view on the lake, and is ideally placed at walking distance from the volcano and the lava fields.

Located 49 km from Godafoss Waterfall and offering barbecue facilities, Hlíd Huts provides accommodation in Myvatn. This property offers access to a patio, free private parking and free WiFi. It was a cute little hut. There's no bathroom in the room, but they seemed to be very clear about that up front. We enjoyed sitting on our front porch sipping wine and looking over the lava field.
