Located 6.1 km from Suncheon Station, Forestel Meomul offers accommodation with a patio, as well as a garden. Private parking is available on site at this recently renovated property. Such a wonderful place. Meomul is located about 1 km or si from the city. You can walk there along a nice river or take a bus (14) to the city where you can catch buses to almost everywhere. The hotel is in the middle of the trees and fresh air. Swan, the owner is a great host always full of kind attention. He is very helpful also for organizing your visits. The rooms are very nice, comfortable and clean and cater for what you need to do your own cooking if you want. Swan prepares a great breakfast too. Certainly the best place to stay in this city!

Damyang Flower & Hanok features mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking, set in Damyang, 6.4 km from Korea Bamboo Museum. For context I am a solo female traveller who can speak only a little amount of Korean. I had left my large suitcase at my long term accommodation in Gwangju and just brought my backpack which definitely made things a lot easier. I had a beautiful stay, and after getting lost on the rural bus network getting here the host was quick to comfort me and offered to pick me up from my location. She made me feel so at home despite the language barrier, giving me food and starting the campfire where I stayed for over an hour with little Cookie the kitten purring on my lap. While it might take a little more thought and effort getting here it is certainly worth it for the serenity and hospitality you receive. The breakfast was also lovely. Nothing to fault about my stay, I hope you consider staying too :)

Suncheon Bay Healing Pension is set in Suncheon, 4.3 km from Suncheonman Bay National Garden, 7.2 km from Suncheon Station, as well as 11 km from Booyoung Country Club. The location was great - bus stop very close by and a short walk to Suncheon Bay. The owner was very kind, and the room was spacious and clean. The heated floor (ondol) was a very welcome surprise and the pension was very quiet. Altogether we had a great night's sleep and would come back again!!

The host was incredibly helpful, from offering extra food for my children to turning up at 5am as a wake-up call (we had a very early morning ferry to catch). There was also a great grilled fish and pork cutlet restaurant just a stone's throw away. My kids enjoyed playing in the sea at the end of a long day's driving. The courtyard was also great, with the mini pagoda to hang out in. We will go back specifically to go to this pension!

The owners are a lovely couple and very welcoming! When we arrived we were greeted with food and delicious homemade makgeolli. The owners kindly invited us to join them for a lovely bibimbap in the morning and even prepared a kimchi making experience for us later that day. Stunning views from the property, which also had tea gardens and a very interesting wine cave..! It is quieter during the week and a great place to do some Korean food and/or temple experiences with the owner. Overall it was a lovely and fun stay in Golmangtae Pension! Try the makgeolli - Cheers!!

Exceptionally clean, comfortable and relaxing environment. Very close to the Wetlands Ecological Area which is certainly worth a visit. Can catch the monorail to the Suncheon National Park, a beautiful park, but the monorail station is a bit of a walk as the station isn't at the Wetlands itself. Monorail operates seasonally. Wonderful owner who gave us lots of help and advice about restaurants - great recommendations - taxis, etc.
