It was a very nice quiet residential neighborhood on the mountain overlooking Charlotte Amalie. I liked that we had a private casita. Having a harbor view was also a nice bonus. Being able to walk to the local bar/restaurant was a plus as driving was unnerving for us.

It was an awesome experience. The managers of the property were fantastic. We will definitely be back when we are in St Thomas.

Booked this place after another booking fell through. Was a little nervous after reading some reviews but this place turned out to be an absolute gem. Great hot water, room and staff who were very helpful. Older property but felt like a cozy older house. Clean. Great views. Fully equipped room with full fridge and stove. I would book this again.
Located 984 feet above the Caribbean Sea, this luxury hotel features an on-site restaurant, an outdoor pool, and free Wi-Fi. It is 1 mi from Maghans Bay Beach.
The hotel was close to the cruise port. It was a bueatiful backdrop. I was there for a short period, I just wanted to go somewhere different and I accomplished my goal. I was there by myself and felt safe. I caught several taxis, when to call a taxis, your taxis has people going other people going in the direction you are, and it’s per person. They’re not a lot of places to park. The streets are very busy.

I love Charlotte Amalie I was born and raised here.
I love Charlotte Amalie I was born and raised here. I relocated to the states years ago. My last visit was in 2018, and some of my family members still reside here.
I also stayed in Estate Solberg and the driving was nerve-wrecking up and down those steep small hills. Overall, I enjoyed my stay with family and the food.

The hotel seems like it was once really nice, but it seems dated now. We had to change rooms when we checked in, the floor was stained and the air conditioner was not working. We had to request room service daily, we will not stay here again.

The town is crawling with tourists when the cruise ships are in and much of the shopping has moved to a couple wharf-side shopping malls. There were some nice restaurants. We preferred St. John and St. Croix

Cajun style seafood was excellent!
Cajun style seafood was excellent! Escargots was a real treat as an appetizer. Had the shrimp and craw fish in bed of rice Seasoned creole style was not too hot and not too mild! Ambiance was appropriate for menu style.

My opinion is you should not travel to the Virgin Islands until they relax the rules on covid. At night, most of the bars, clubs, and restaurants are closed and the ones that are open, they close early. Basically I was walking around looking for something to do. If you're there to just go to the beach, that's fine but the nightlife there is a ghost town now during covid. Also you do not want to go shopping either. They are so desperate to get sales that everybody bombards you with trying to sell you something. Also a tip about buying alcohol, buy the alcohol at Kmart. That's the cheapest place to buy alcohol. Also if this is your first visit to St Thomas, be prepared because the customer service is not the greatest. A lot of the sellers are not very nice and I'm being kind. I'm not saying everyone but a lot have bad attitudes. I'm part St Thomian and I tell you this from experience.

The staff were kind, accommodating, and above-and-beyond helpful. We were so touched that they had a little library to read from and a free shelf of sunscreens etc that other travelers had left behind, it literally saved our skin on the ferry the next day! They were very helpful in contacting a cab when we needed one and were very tolerant of all of our large family's odd requests (thanks guys!) The location is amazing, right in the middle of Charlotte Amalie and an easy walk everywhere. The kids really loved the pool!
I appreciated that the owners tried to spruce up an old hotel using fresh paint, plants and artwork to make it as cheery as possible. This is a basic, budget hotel with no amenities, but it still met our needs for an overnight stay. The room was nice and clean and the beds were comfortable. You can easily walk to restaurants and the main shopping areas as well as several of the sightseeing areas.
It was so cute and had a lovely pool. My room was very clean, the bed was very comfortable and there was a microwave, fridge and coffee pot plus some dishes and utensils. It was decorated nicely and Lyndsey and her husband were excellent innkeepers. Location was great to walk into downtown Charlotte Amalie.

This gem of a new hotel is an absolute stand out in St. Thomas. The staff is amazing and all the little touches around the property make it a little oasis of paradise! I’d encourage anyone looking for a great escape and great hospitality to book here :)
This place is a gem! It is very close to Blackbeard's castle. It is a short walk to downtown Charlotte Amalie so if you don't mind walking, you don't really need a car. The place has everything you need and decent space. Great for a couples getaway!
Room has a great view. I Iiked that it wasn’t like a hotel where housekeeping comes in every day to clean, this way we could just sit in the room and relax knowing we weren’t ever going to be bothered. The food at the bar was also really good.
The location was central for all activities. Close enough to walk to some shops and restaurants- easy and quick for airport and excursions.
The views from the hotel and my room were stunning
The restaurant and bar have great food and drinks.
I'm a Native Virgin Islander and know enough about the history of the hotel, the site it stands, and that is has one of the best Views of the island. Also, great proximity to many shops and attractions in "'Town" .
An atmospheric & quirky hotel, perched high up on the hill, with splendid views over the bay. My room was at the very top of the hotel & was clean and comfortable. Bathroom a little elderly.
The location is great, right in the center of Charlotte Amalie. The price is also great. We also had a breakfast in their cafe, and it was wonderful. The staff is very nice as well.
Rooms were great, views were on point, something going on most days at the hotel, friendly staff, good vibes, cocktails were nice as was the food.staff were great
It was cool that they bring breakfast around in a little picnic basket.
The location is pretty good, the property has really great views of Charlotte Amalie.
The only positive I can give is the location. Close to the ferry docks and easy walking to downtown and restaurants. The room was ok with good air conditioning.
