This tent features air conditioning, tea-and-coffee making facilities and en suite bathroom. Frontier River Resort is located in South Africa, 6 km from the Vioolsdrift Border Control to Namibia. The grounds and luxury tents were in a nice setting with a lot of seasonal planting upgrades, like their own orange grove, that I would love to return to see in the future. Because the facility is on a hillside, owners were concerned with my walking with a crutch but I managed well. Really enjoyed falling asleep with the tent flaps open so I could look at stars, wake to first sun light and bird song. Everything from bedding to towels and toiletries made me feel like I was in a luxury spa. I really enjoyed the owners young son who was concerned about compression wraps on my legs. He sat me in a chair in front of the tent, went and got my book and kept me entertained until my husband came back from his walk. Such a big heart, full of compassion, in such a small body.

The fireplace is a top feature of this tent. The tent's kitchen, which has a refrigerator and a microwave, is available for cooking and storing food. We lived our stay at Terra Rouge, and would definitely go back. Lovely quiet country setting on a working farm

Nastanitev Grunau Country Hotel z 2 zvezdicama se nahaja v mestu Grünau in ima zunanji bazen, vrt ter bar. Ta nastanitev vam poleg družinskih sob nudi tudi otroško igrišče. The small, simple room was very clean (and so were the shared toilets/showers). The hotel has made an effort to make the place homey with a bit of decor inside the room and plants/decor throughout the property.. The wind and cold were fierce during our stay, so we were very grateful to have a good heater in our room (and they provide enough blankets). While the WIFI is only available in the reception/bar/restaurant area, it works well. Good to have a reasonably priced restaurant on site, as there are few eating options in Grunau (you can order your meals ahead to be ready at a certain time). We stayed for two nights while visiting Fish River Canyon as it is much more affordable than the places in/nearer the park (unless you are camping).

Located about 5 km from the Mata-Mata border post into Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park, Torgos Safari Lodge is situated at the dry Auob River and offers game viewing opportunities.The lodge has an... A hidden jewel situated near the border with South Africa and proved to be an oasis for the traveller. A place to be quiet, rest and be pampered by caring and efficient staff. We have and will continue to recommend the Lodge.
