Rach and Angus went above and beyond with their hospitality and level of assistance. As did Puck, their cute dog! The location and quality of accommodation is dreamlike. The view from the gorgeous glamping tent is breathtaking. Incredible attention to detail with multiple extras and little touches that were all noticed and appreciated. We all want to return at the earliest opportunity. Thanks guys for an incredible stay!

Situated in Hotwater Beach, 700 metres from Hot Water Beach and 10 km from Cathedral Cove, Adventurer's Chest - Taiwawe features spacious air-conditioned accommodation with a balcony and free WiFi. This luxury tent has a garden and free private parking. Outdoor dining is also possible at the luxury tent. The house is absolutely gorgeous and so is the location right on Hot Water Beach. There is such a wide range of leisure equipment, which unfortunately we couldn't use at all due to the short time of our stay. Everything is in TOP condition. In the end we only used the paddles, but there would also have been kayaks, e-bikes and fishing equipment. Communication was good, but no personal contact. There are 2 cafés in the area - both very nice, but not always open. Be sure to buy groceries beforehand - there is nothing in the area...

Outdoor dining is also possible at the luxury tent. I can’t think of a better way to describe this lovely place other than where simplicity meets extravagance. If I didn’t live 20 hours away, I’d be back here every other month to enjoy the lush rolling hills, the silly ducks that make for good company and the perfected attention to detail in the decor and functionality. I can’t recommend this location enough, we were close to most of the destinations we were going to visit and the town was simple but had what you needed. the hosts were kind, attentive and thoughtful and the entire experience was one to be grateful for.

It is located just 1 km from white sandy beaches and a 20-minute drive from Whitianga. quiet, chalets were nicely decorated, large expansive of lawn to enjoy nature, outdoor seating.

Wish we could live there! Hideaway was quiet, and still right near shopping, dining, and excursions. Our hosts were a remarkable, friendly couple. They were the owners and obviously took great pride in their lodging . We stayed in their "studio", which was very roomy and comfortable, with every convenience available. Large, modern bathroom, cooking facilities, a barbeque and picnic table right outside our door, and a hot tub available to us. Our favorite place we stayed in our 3-week New Zealand trip!
