The view of the farmland and valleys and volcanos in the distance is everything. We saw one of the best sunrises ever. Angus greeted us on arrival and it was clear how much pride he has in his land and how much he enjoys sharing it with others.

The house is absolutely gorgeous and so is the location right on Hot Water Beach. There is such a wide range of leisure equipment, which unfortunately we couldn't use at all due to the short time of our stay. Everything is in TOP condition. In the end we only used the paddles, but there would also have been kayaks, e-bikes and fishing equipment. Communication was good, but no personal contact. There are 2 cafés in the area - both very nice, but not always open. Be sure to buy groceries beforehand - there is nothing in the area...

I can’t think of a better way to describe this lovely place other than where simplicity meets extravagance. If I didn’t live 20 hours away, I’d be back here every other month to enjoy the lush rolling hills, the silly ducks that make for good company and the perfected attention to detail in the decor and functionality. I can’t recommend this location enough, we were close to most of the destinations we were going to visit and the town was simple but had what you needed. the hosts were kind, attentive and thoughtful and the entire experience was one to be grateful for.

Situated in the bush of Kuaotunu and featuring sea views, Kuaotunu Chalets offers accommodation in tranquil surroundings. Lovely Chalets. We stayed at Cuvier. I loved the fragrance of plants and flowers surrounding our carpark and the chalet. The lovely wooden house with staircase to our rooms gave us an adventure vibe. The toilet and bathroom are separated which saved us time. The instructions given to us are very clear. It's nice to know that there is a lovely cafe and a restaurant 4 minutes drive away as cooking is not our speciality. A nice location for a start of a trip and a getaway. Cheers!

This cabin boasts views of the sea. You can relax and watch the TV with satellite channels. There is a fridge, cutlery and crockery featured. A BBQ is available for use. Location is extremely scenic with its own beach! Staff are so helpful and friendly. Everything was so organised, clean and well set up. Very impressed with the facilities. Well stocked shop on site.

Featuring a private entrance, this air-conditioned mobile home consists of 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom with a hairdryer. Included hot beverages and fresh milk which was amazing. Cute little chocolates on arrival! Last but not least a personalised message welcoming me!
