The ensuite toilet was interesting. Overall a good experience. Also, they have a vegetarian restaurant outside, and their mushroom sisig is dangerously delicious!

We also had a breakfast and lunch at the property and really enjoyed the food. Carmella and her sister were very attentive and excellent cooks! Great location, friendly atmosphere and incredible experience. Highly recommend!!

Simply furnished, rooms come with a balcony overlooking the lush green gardens. Rooms are cooled with a fan or air conditioning, and include access to shared or private bathroom facilities. The room was clean and tidy. When we arrived, the room smelled like the rooms in some expensive resorts here in the Philippines. The lady in the reception, Jona, was so kind to help us with our inquiries with the tours. She even helped us book for the whaleshark activity the next day and the tuktuk that took us there. The tuktuk driver, Kuya Pael, guided us on the whaleshark registration process. He also guided us to the boat going to Sumilon island sandbar. The island was great. The sand was sugary white and the corals and fishes were just fantastic! They have a restaurant inside Oslob New Village and the food was like the best! I've been to some restaurants while in Manila but this one, it's to die for! And their prices are reasonably perfect! One thing that I also liked about this place was the staff. They really get out of their way to help you in every way possible. The place is so relaxing and quiet, I would love to stay longer like for a month. Too bad I had to fly back home. Well, at least next time, I already know where to stay when I'm in Cebu. Oslob New Village it is!!!
