Isla is definitely the highlight of my trip in the Philippines. Darocotan is an absolutely amazing island, very wild & quiet and the actual camp experience on Isla makes it even better. The camp is simply beautiful, the huts are cosy and the view on the beach when waking up is just unbeatable. Going to Isla is actually living a full island experience. We first came for 1 night, then decided to come back a few days later for 2 nights, ended up staying 5 nights. We arrived with no expectations and didn’t expect leaving this little paradise would be so hard. Don’t wait one more second and just try it by yourself.

The theme of the property to utilize sustainable materials and design, really enjoyed the The Hive huts. The food prepared by the in-house Chef every meal time. The chill and friendly welcome from the Dryft team. Would come back again in summer next year.

The staff are 10/10 they were so helpful and welcoming, I got into an accident when I was staying here and they made sure I was accommodated and looked after. They’re family took me to the hospital straight after and took extra care of me. We had an amazing family dinner and bonfire. The breakfast was amazing and all the children were so kind aswell as our lovely host who made sure I wasn’t getting scammed when paying locals. This property is beach front but to note 1 hour away from the centre but if you are looking for a get away come here it’s beach from Leoinel will take you to a secret beach only locals are welcome too. Stunning!

Brand new, spotless clean, a really really comfy mattress and the exterior area was soooo beautiful. The dome is awesome, spacious enough to have the basics that you need and don’t let me start on the bathroom. Taking a shower after a long stay under the stars is indescribable! The location is away from the hustle which is perfect, but just enough so you don’t feel away. Sharmaine, the owner, was so helpful and accommodating with everything we needed even days before we arrive. She is so kind and fun to talk to, I am glad we met her. Thank you for everything!

This tent's standout feature is the pool with a view. This air-conditioned tent is comprised of a flat-screen TV with streaming services, a private bathroom as well as a terrace with sea views. The Pyramid accommodation was great with amazing views. Pool facility and views were excellent. Food was good as well a service. I would recommend staying at Karina rather in El Nido town.

The locals are incredibly friendly, and the beach feels like a private oasis. The wifi connection was surprisingly robust, and the tent and bathroom facilities were not only fantastic but also exceeded our expectations in terms of size and amenities. From games and a fridge to air conditioning and beach towels, every detail was meticulously thought out. The outdoor area is a perfect spot for unwinding, complete with swings that offer a front-row seat to breathtaking sunsets. I wholeheartedly recommend Ocam Ocam – it has secured a spot as one of my top favorites in the Philippines. Don't miss the chance to experience this slice of paradise!

Nomad Yurts is a very unique place!!! :))) I had slept in yurts in Mongolia and loved it, that’s why I booked it. Located in Main Street of Coron town, there is no pool or garden, but a cozy breakfast/lounge area to hang out and meet people. Bibi, his business partner and all staff are super helpful and do everything they can to make the most of your stay. You can also book tours with them. They offer a super delicious and big breakfast you should not miss! Nomad hurts doesn’t have a bar but you can easily bring your own alcohol. The yurts are very well maintained and outfittet with lots of love. Not only do they provide a toothbrush and toothpaste but also SOLID shower gel and shampoo. It’s the little things that make a difference. :) Good luck with your Mongolian restaurant plans and maybe a second Nomad Yurts in Siargao, Bibi. We hope to see you there! The owner Tony and his Partner Willi are super nice an welcoming. They did bring us to the city and helped us to rent a motorbike. We were also always invited to them for a drink in the evening. Our room was super clean and ni Tony organizes the best island hoping tours. Private tours to very affordable prices. Best thing about it hr cooks for you on the beach lunch.
