Unexpectedly wonderful. Authentic. Didn't expect a pub but turned out to be a plus. Very good food for both dinner and breakfast. Spacious room with modern bathroom. Nicest people.

The facilities are immaculate, clean & exceptionally well managed by the manager Daniella & all of her staff who are equally attentive, friendly & helpful. Overall it was the whole package, the extra details such as chocolates on the bed on 14 Feb.

Melina and Julie are the perfect hosts. Friendly, sweet and helpful. We had the most wonderful stay at Starling. Our room, and the rest of the house, was cosy and clean, the breakfast was tasty and super fresh, and the location are spot on. We would highly recommend everyone to stay at Starling if visiting Brighton, we loved it!

With its bright and cheerful exterior, colorful furnishings, and Vesna’s artwork, this guest house is a gem. It’s location is convenient, the breakfasts are delicious and artistically presented, and it is spotless. Above all I appreciate Vesna’s TLC and kindness. I would return in a heartbeat!

The guesthouse is beautifully decorated and simply makes you feel good right as you walk in. Antony takes care of all the details to make you feel at home. We were served a nice and tasty breakfast every day that includes a fresh bowl of fruits and a delicious homemade granola, which for me was a blessing. The bed is very comfortable and the room has all the nice amenities. Antony was very helpful with helping us find a location to park the car, getting our parking tickets and suggesting places to go in the city. Overall we just loved our stay and highly recommend.
