I have never been in such a well equiped kitchen like in this house. You can find everything you need. The area is safe and calm. We had that special feeling that we didn't want to leave the house. If I came back to Panamacity I will definatelly stay here again.

Its a great place to meet nice people, have a drink, leave for a bar at night, and eat delicious breakfast in the morning. The staff is super welcoming and helped me with all questions around the airport, the security of the neighborhood, and so on. Its really central and I enjoyed walking around at night and check out the area. Also it was very clean and the beds with ACs comfortable. I would love to come back soon - a highly recommended hostal! A big thank you to Onan and the owner !

HOSTAL IBRAIS, a property with a shared lounge, is situated in Panama City, 8.1 km from Bridge of the Americas, 8.4 km from Ancon Hill, as well as 8.9 km from Rod Carew National Stadium. I have never experienced such kind helpful staff. Manuel goes above and beyond to help. When we arrived we were having contacting a airline to arrange a ticket refund- he could not have been more helpful and with success. Whilst in Panama we were subject to petty crime and Manuel contacted the Police and came with us to the station to make a statement . We had a bigger room . It was quiet, very clean with a comfortable bed and pillows. The WiFi worked well and the room had air-con. The kitchen was well equipt and we cooked a few meals. The staff will do your laundry on site for $6 a load. Excellent location- lots of shops ( food stores) and restaurants nearby. Via Argentina is a 10-15min walk. All in all we were so pleased that we chose Hostel IBRAIS - we came back for another stay! (Manuel stored our bags and had helped organise a San Blas tour)

Relatively quiet location for being in city center. The pool is a bonus being hot and humid. Enjoyed the morning breakfast with the standard and two other options at a fair price. Surrounded with conveniences.

Location: nice neighborhood, clean and quiet, easily accessible, ca. 5-7min walking from the metro station, a large supermarket within the same walking distance, even after dark on almost empty streets felt absolutely safe. Room: spacious and cozy room, comfortable bed, WiFi works very well, a/c, hot water in the shower, fridge in the room. We were also able to use the common area on the terrace and the kitchen to cook, which was a pleasant bonus. Hostal also offers laundry service, and although we didn't use it I find it really helpful that you don't need to search for it around if you need one. Friendly and welcoming hosts. When someone talks in the hall downstairs, you hear it in your room, but it happened may be twice and didn't disturb us at all. The hostal is really quiet and peaceful and we really liked this atmosphere.
