Beautiful location near highway but well above it. Very welcoming staff. We highly recommend unit on the end with ocean and jungle views. Nice breakfast! Beach not too far away also...

The Valley Tayrona hostel- A unique social jungle hostel ligger i El Zaino och erbjuder en utomhuspool, en trädgård, en terrass och en bar. The staff, travellers and the place had such a beautiful vibe. I loved it there, one of my most memorable and beautiful experiences in Colombia. Also, the food was amazing!

La Finca Lorena Tayrona ligger i El Zaino och erbjuder boende med trädgård, terrass och bar samt gratis WiFi i alla utrymmen. Alla rum har ett kök och ett eget badrum. This finca is very nice. It’s in the middle of the forest. We stayed there two nights and they even cleaned the room. When we arrived late in the night the waited for us and brought us from Tayrona Square to the Finca. It’s a 15 minutes walk but very nice for a true experience in the nature. Food was good and in the finca the yard is awesome, spectacular plants and such a lovely cat, Musly. Staff is awesome, many thanks to Ruth for food and nice company!

Origen Hostel ligger i El Zaino och har en utomhuspool, en trädgård, en terrass och en restaurang. Boendet ligger inom 48 km från Quinta de San Pedro Alejandrino och har en bar. One of my all time favorite places to stay. Will, Sami, the chefs and the rest of the staff go above and beyond to create a great chill, social space, with great food. The grounds and gardens are so well kept. Highly recommend!

Located in Guachaca, 15 minutes from Tayrona Park, Bohemia Beach offers accommodation, a restaurant, a swimming pool, a bar and a private beach area. There is free WiFi. Kind staff, great value, amazing pool, right at the beach, good and sufficient amenities. Would recommend booking the 10 bed jungle room rather than the one with 8 beds. A place for a peaceful stay but there are several other hostels in walking distance that you can go to for a party. Still, easy to meet other travelers!

Ecolodge Playa Brava Teyumakke erbjuder boende i Santa Marta. Här finns även en restaurang. Du kan spela bordtennis på vandrarhemmet. Everything was great. The tent is spacious and clean and very comfortable. The beach is beautiful (but not good for swimming) and you have your own bathroom, porch with chairs and two beach chairs and sun umbrella only for you at the beach. Towels and soap are also provided. The staff is very friendly and the meals are great.

Posada Ecoturistica Palmares Del Rio ligger i Guachaca, 41 km från Santa Marta och 38 km från Taganga. Här finns även en bar. Privat parkering erbjuds utan extra kostnad. The family was very hospitable and the food was good. The river was beautiful and so was a nearby hike to a waterfall.

La Ponderosa Reserve ligger i Buritaca och erbjuder boende med trädgård, restaurang och bar samt gratis WiFi. Vandrarhemmet erbjuder en egen strand. One of the best places I have ever stayed. Isolated paradise up in the mountains, definitely worth the 40 minutes Moto taxi. The fact it's a sustainable, zero waste, permaculture project makes your stay so much more meaningful. The communal meals have a great vibe and the food it's is absolutely incredible. Beautiful little river beach and so many adorable animals - dogs, cats, pigs, Barbara the goat. Good activities to do as well: tubing, permaculture tour, trip to indigenous village. Other guests were so lovely as the place attracts great people. I kept extending my stay and ended up there for ten days. 10/10 would recommend.

Sierra Tayrona hostel ligger i El Zaino, 47 km från Quinta de San Pedro Alejandrino, och erbjuder boende med en trädgård, gratis privat parkering, en gemensam lounge och en terrass. The location was amazing. Next to the river & wildlife. The hut slept really good. Great mosquito protection. Great bed. Its almost you sleep outside but you got enough privacy. Simba the cat and Gardian the dog were really cute and the owner can cook very well. The keyword is tranquillo. Don’t expect much, expect nature and a really great night rest. Even if you love luxurious places you can love this place (ill do). We extended our stay for another day only to relax in the hostel and swim in the river. We used the jacuzzi. In the night you hear crickets and frogs singing and the sound of the river and sometimes you hear monkeys. It’s awesome. If you gonna eat. Don’t go to tiki hut as the pizza’s made us sick.
