King size bed and 6 plush pillows…we had our best night sleep on our entire trip. Customer service was first-class (complimentary wine on check-in, bags carried for you, and they made us a surprise cake for my girlfriends birthday). Amenities were all fantastic (pools, spa, steam room and sauna).

This place was central, spotless and provided a beautiful breakfast each morning. However, the staff were the highlight. They were attentive and willing to help with any request, no matter how small. The room was a luxurious size, and the bath was a welcome friend after long days out touring the sights.

Offering a seasonal outdoor pool and views of the mountains, Posada de los Poetas Hotel Boutique is set in San Lorenzo in the Salta Province Region, 10 km from Salta. The staff were so warm and welcoming after our long drive from Cafayate. They have excellent bottled wine at reception and also delicious empanadas. The large room has every convenience and comfortable bed. Also, a private terrace with table & chairs. The breakfast is extensive and delicious including the coffee! We liked the hotel so much that we returned early from Humahuaca to spend an extra night. I highly recommend this hotel in quiet San Lorenzo rather than Salta for anyone traveling up to see the Humahuaca sites.
