Arbostora is one of the quietest, poshest, and undiscovered places on the lake Lugano. The hotel is on the border of the lake, with a really exotic and rare scenery: think of palm trees meet Swiss Alps meet all the really nice smelling flowers typical for Mediterranean area. Also the property has one of the best restaurants in the area, a bit pricey but I learned that in Switzerland you get what you pay for. I would recommend taking the hiking trails and do a tour up the mountain through the villas with the nicest garden I’ve ever seen.

This apartment was exactly how it was listed. It was spacious and very clean. There were easy instructions in how to use certain amenities in the apartment which was great. They also have an adapter for you which saved us during our stay. We found the the washing machine and dryer to be very useful for us, as well as the coffee machine which we were SO happy with. The location is very close to supermarkets and Lake Lugano. Check in was a very easy process. Not much to fault. Thank you for a lovely stay.

My stay was amazing with a great breakfast including delicous coffees made by the on-site barrista. The owners (Lucy and her husband) were so welcoming, helpful and friendly. They make you feel at home. The room was big enough for me (solo traveller) and the bed comfy. You have a beautiful view on the lake Lugano and it's only 10min walk from the hotel. The pool is nice in the afternoon after a hike or visiting around. I will recommend this hotel 100%!

Private owner beautifully appointed apartment one block from Lake Lugano. Exceptionally clean, well stocked with kitchen utensils, condiments and even fruit and snacks. A variety of drinks stocked in the frig for purchase. Nice location on Lugano in Italy just minutes to Switzerland. Very easy to explore the lake and the region. Wifi super and TV with netflix, prime, you tube etc. Very gracious and helpful host with excellent english.

Excellent apartment with very good facilities all of which worked. Good communication with hosts who are very helpful. Amazing view over lake Lugano. Very quiet inside and out. Good bus service at end of Via Cortivo into city (bus #2 from train station - stop is San Domenico - tickets at any bus stop using credit card). Outside patio area brilliant. Walkable to city centre (without luggage). Car parking underneath (we didn't need it).

The staff and hotel should be at the top of your list for recommendations. So thoughtful and kind in meeting our expectations and needs by helping us locate our missing luggage at airliner. Nothing was ever a problem in serving their guests. Restaurant served gourmet meals and a delicious and extensive breakfast buffet. No problem sleeping: the room was extremely quiet and restful with a delightful view of Lake Lugano from our balcony.

This was the second time staying at Hotel Serpiano. The views over Lake Lugano are absolutely breathtaking and worth the drive. We stayed a double room with lake views, which I highly recommend. Rooms are clean and simple, bathroom is a little tight, but manageable. Staff was friendly and food served in the on-site restaurant was very good. Lots of parking, free of charge. Breakfast buffet is simple, but good.

Located on the shore of Lugano lake in Morcote it's a nice little hotel. The rooms are a bit tired - but the staff is amazing and hotel itself also. Upon arrival, the first thing that strikes you is the breathtaking panorama of Lake Lugano – a view that is afforded from almost every corner of the property. The hotel itself is impeccably presented, a perfect blend of Swiss elegance and modernism.

I stayed with my family for a week. The location is great - private beach at Lake Lugano and private pool. Our apartment had a grand balcony with a lake view, it was amazing. Apartment also had all the facilities to feel like home. There is an Italianrestaurant part of the hotel, which also offer delicious food.I am looking forward to go there again :). Cleanliness- property is very well managed.

Everything about our stay was great! Massimo and Luisa are a very friendly and helpful couple who were excellent hosts. The apartment was very well equipped, super clean and has a breathtaking view of Lake Lugano. They even had a welcome basket prepared for us! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this place for a perfect vacation in Lake Lugano! Will gladly stay again 😊

We requested a balcony with a Lake Lugano view and it was perfect, however there is a main road between our room and the lake. We like to keep the windows open, so there was traffic noise, but it did not bother us. The hotel was a quick walk to the train station and the boat cruises were right across the street. Restaurants everywhere and shopping galore. Breakfast was very good.

The Hotel is conveniently located 10 minutes away from the city centre and enjoys beautiful views on lake Lugano. The indoor and outdoor swimming pools are a good complement. The fitness is extremely well equipped and the SPA area is modern, sparkling clean. We recommend to try the outstanding therapists and the Spa. We loved this hotel and we look forward to coming back soon.

Amazing two bedroom suite on the fifth floor with the most beautiful view of the lake. Staff was spectacular; room was huge with spacious bedrooms and sitting area. Balcony was amazing with a four top table and the best view you could have of Lake Lugano. The regular rooms are much smaller but the hotel and staff, and the two bedroom suite was superb. Thank you!

Great staff, amazing views on lake Lugano. Excellent location (you can reach many different locations with a car), and Porlezza is not as expensive as other more famous cities around - but equally beautiful! The hotel had a small pool which was perfect for relaxation. Breakfast was fine, very common type of buffet in Italy. The rooms were spacious and comfortable.

Hotel was very nice and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is good - only 5 minutes walk from the lake. Having a bar at the hotel was good as it meant we could have a leisurely drink before bed. Porto Ceresio is a beautiful town on Lake Lugano, not a typical tourist destination (which is a good thing) Grazie per la confettura di Kiwi

The hotel has a great location — very close to the main square, right along the main pedestrian street, a block away from the bus and the water, and easy walking distance from pretty much anywhere you could want to go! I could even see a bit of Lake Lugano from my room! The staff were always welcoming, helpful, and kind, even when I arrived at 10:30pm.

The location was excellent—10 minutes walking distance to the funicular to Monte San Salvatore and 5 minutes to Lake Lugano—and the Paradiso boat stop. Dinner outdoors on the patio of the hotel restaurant was delightful with pleasant Italian singer (in English) and in the morning the breakfast was generous and delicious!

- Location is great, nearby to downtown area and Lake Lugano. - Adequate facilities: elevator, kitchen & appliances, washing machine & pressing. - Apartment is spacious & pristine. - Instruction to obtain apartment keys was easily understandable & straight forward.

The location of the hotel is really nice. Most of the villas has a great view of Lake Lugano. More than enough private parking spaces. There are a lot of very good restaurants nearby (within 10 mins walk). Couple of suggestions are Il Pinguino (dal 1978) and Trattoria della Vigna.

The breakfast was excellent, with great variety. The staff gave us baked goods to go every morning. The hotel is located in the center of the charming village, with spectacular views of Lake Lugano from the breakfast area and lake view side of the hotel. Great wifi in our room.
