Located in Thun, 29 km from Bärengraben, Schloss Schadau - Swiss Historic Hotel provides accommodation with a garden, private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. Living in Australia, we don't have castles. So the opportunity to stay in a castle was too good to pass up. Schloss Schadau did not disappoint. We were met at reception by Helen who could not have been more helpful and was also had a wealth of knowledge about the property. She personally showed us to our beautiful room which had a magnificent view of the lake and the Alps behind. If you stay here you simply MUST have dinner here as well. Again there is no escaping from the fact that you are in a castle ! The dining room(s) are luxurious and the food and the service are excellent, matching the decor. Breakfast is served in the same location. It wasn't cheap, but hey ! It's a castle. If you are able to stay one night or more here. You should do it. Unforgettable.

The staff was extremely helpful and accommodating, including with a small birthday surprise at breakfast for my son. The location is beautiful and the rooms very comfortable.

The Beatus Wellness & SPA Hotel in Merligen - Interlaken is located right in a large park on the shore of Lake Thun. Great breakfast, interesting program offerings like a hike, yoga, aqua sports. Wonderful view on the lake, nice wellness and spa offering and very lovely and carrying staff. It was a great stay

The Boutique Hotel Spedition a member of DESIGN HOTELS is located in a historically protected building in Thun, 30 km from Interlaken and 60 km from Gstaad and offers free WiFi. Everything was great . . . comfy bed, like sleeping on a cloud, lots of space, great host, delicious food and cental but quiet location. Loved it!

Breakfast was just the perfect meal for the start of the day. Although the room could have been a little big, but was cozy enough.‘‘Klein aber fein‘‘. The farm animals kept the kids very happy throughout the stay.
