The food was delicious, and the staff was so friendly! Close enough to town that it was just a quick car trip (in better weather we would have walked), but it felt secluded! Beautiful setting!

Situated in Moffat, 33 km from Dumfries and County Golf Club, Moffat House features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. Absolutely love the decor and standard of furniture, fixtures and fitting of this beautifully refurbished Georgian house. Extremely well decorated and furnished, spacious, with a large bar area, large restaurant with linen tablecloths, and a separate dining area for four-legged friends. Good to know that pets are welcome and are catered for, but those without pets can dine in a separate area. Bedroom (No. 7) was beautifully furnished, spacious with very comfy super king size bed and lovely walk-in shower room with a hot powerful shower. We didn't dine in the restaurant in the evening but we both had a scrumptious breakfast in the morning. Most importantly, the staff were very friendly, efficient and attentive. Finally, the price for B&B for two was very reasonable. What's not to like ??? Highly recommended !!!

Situated in the spa town of Moffat, Buccleuch Arms Hotel is a former 18th-century Georgian coaching inn which offers free Wi-Fi and a restaurant serving award-winning food. 2nd time visiting and still amazing! This place is what hospitality is all about, they have everything covered. Pity the restaurant is closed at this time of year but totally understand why. We had breakfast which was great. We hope to visit this hotel again when it's fully functioning and can try the food there too. Thanks all!

The breakfast was perfect not greasy ,healthily done, coffee n juice perfect, got seaview table both days. Lisa was so lovely and helpful , so we're all the other girls.
