Our room had a beautiful view of the bay so that even if the weather was poor we would still have the experience. Food was wonderful and the staff and locals were so friendly to us and our doggie. Lovely sitooterie outside the hotel. We will be back!

I was given a great welcome, walking in as I did just as the Lionesses scored the winning goal against Germany. Everyone was friendly and I had a drink in the bar before checking in. Rooms are recently renovated and just gorgeous, and I had a terrific view of Stranraer from the second floor. Surprisingly quiet, considering it was above a pub in the main street.

We picked this establishment because it was the only one that had rooms for those of us that are disabled (first floor). The inn is remote but is in a beautiful setting. We stayed in a slightly remote house which we really loved. Large windows in the living area looking over the rocky seashore made for a serene morning coffee scene. We also really enjoyed the 5 course meal served in the restaurant in the lighthouse.
