Like the city of Cuneo itself, an unexpected find!

Once a ceramics factory, Albergo della Ceramica is located in the centre of Villanova Mondovi. Cuneo, Mondolè Ski and the Langhe are just 20 minutes away. This beautifully converted hotel (an old ceramic factory) is a real gem! We chose it for the location, but it turned out to be really warm, friendly, clean, quiet, and delightful! The staff was so helpful and welcoming, the breakfast was plentiful and the neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. We walked to dinner (reservations made by the wonderful hotel concierge) and enjoyed seeing some of the lovely city. Great value and a lovely stay!

In the heart of the historic centre, just 50 metres from the cathedral, you will find Phi Hotel Principe. It overlooks Piazza Galimberti and is surrounded by typical shops. This is a very comfortable hotel in a perfect location, 20 meters from the entrance to the pedestrian zone of the historical district. The family that runs this hotel has thought of so many little things, from two luggage racks per room, to wonderful heavy ironed sheets, to very classy bathrooms, and there is secure parking (for a fee). It made a great base for a day walking around Cuneo, enjoying the restored 15th and 16th century buildings and eating some great Piemonte food. If we go through Cuneo again, this is definitely where we will stay.
