The staff was unreal and went above and beyond to make us feel special. The food was great, the rooms were beautiful. They have live music at dinner some nights and I ended up crying during more songs than I'm willing to admit. Can't wait to come back again!

Detta art déco-hotell omges av 2 havsnära byggnader och har en terrass med utomhuspool. would like to thank both managers Hisham and Sagar...I had a little loud neighbour so they immediately offered to change my room...rooms are wide --beds and pillows very comfortable..they provide toiletries ..breakfast could be improved a little but was generous..the staff very attentive ready to comply with any request.---I hope I don't forget names..thank you Macane, Ziadym Iracelma Edso Nilton ..Luna at reception with Veronica Paula And Augusto.. the hotel is more oriented to business... its huge..and you access the beach through a door from the garden..Vilanculos does not have uninterrupted long beaches..some places have rocks... and I went in winter so not many passengers... had an excellent stay

This is a true paradise for the adventurous traveller who wants to experience the real Mozambique! We loved our spacious clean beach bungalow with lovely shady deck from which we could see the sea through the palm trees! It was 100m from the sand. All staff were incredibly kind and friendly. Fernando brought us coconuts and opened them. Dalton is an incredibly kind and hospitable host. He recommended local restaurants that we loved - no menu sometimes, just go with the flow! There is no restaurant at Villancool but we enjoyed walking up to Baobab for breakfast and then back to the tranquility of Villancool. Our sunset Dhow safari was an absolutely highlight - a really traditional timber boat with old school sailing. Dalton can organise activities including kite surfing. We loved our time here. If you want luxury surroundings, room service, fast wifi and all that, this is probably not the place for you but to appreciate a friendly community in very comfortable accommodation, I highly recommend it. What we loved the most was the attention to details: from the beautiful furnishing to the perfectly stocked kitchenette, And even offering to drive us to the shops on the way from the airport, Linda exceeded our expectations in every way.

The house is beautiful, peaceful, better then the photos. The staff was kind and welcoming. Every day the house looked different thanks to the view of the ocean. It’s very safe. We didn’t need to worry about a thing. Got us the liberty to create the best memories as a couple and we just got engaged right there! Thank you for everything.
