Offering barbecue facilities and sea view, The Salty Bushman B&B is located in Kaka Point, a few steps from Port Molyneux Beach and 1.3 km from Kaka Point Beach. Excellent hospitality. Friendly, helpful and resourceful host. Lovely and comfortable home. Beautiful view. Highly recommended.

Catlins Retreat B & B is situated in Owaka. Featuring garden and quiet street views, this guest house also includes free WiFi. Location was excellent. The room was very spacious, with a very comfy bed. Jill, the host, was very welcoming and offered some great tips for lical activities.

Located in Balclutha, The Fern & Thistle Luxury Accommodation- Drinks, Hotpool, Sauna provides accommodation with a sauna, a hot tub and a steam room. Lovely period house, it hardly seems to have changed from when it was built. Very welcoming hosts, only continental breakfast, but plenty of it and all very tasty. We used the hot tub in the evening, it was lovely sitting out under the stars. Just a short drive to Balclutha where we had a great Indian meal at the Raj. It was fascinating to read the history of the property and Benhar. Would love to go back and stay again sometime.

Featuring garden views, Kaka Point Views Apartment 2 provides accommodation with a garden, around less than 1 km from Port Molyneux Beach. Big room, good functioning amenities, good private kitchenette with culterys, fantastic sea view of pacific ocean, nice smell, tidy and neat with plenty of recommendations books for activities.

Set in Glenomaru in the Otago region, Lawfield features a balcony and garden views. The property has inner courtyard views. Lawfield BnB was a lovely cozy hideaway, with stunning views of the rolling hills, sunrise, sunset and night stars. Though the cabin was secluded and small, it was thoughtfully designed with everything that we needed for a restful and comfortable stay, including hot shower, hairdryer, USB charging pods, a kitchenette, and full length glass doors and balcony for enjoying the views. The place was neat and clean. The hosts Keith and Helen were also warm and friendly. They gave us some excellent recommendations to check out in the area, such as the annual Farmers Market at Kaka Point. Location wise, this was pretty near a few highlights along the Catlins trail, such as Nugget Point and Roaring Bay. This would make a good rest stop along the Catlins trail, or launching base to explore the Catlins. This was one of our favourite places to stay in New Zealand. We stayed for only 1 night, and wished we stayed longer. We look forward to returning to Lawfield BnB one day!

Spacious house steps to the ocean. Fantastic beds and bedding. Great shower with plenty of pressure. Completely stocked kitchen. I know it is a cliche, but our best stay in 3 trips to New Zealand!

Jafa's Motels is set in Lawrence and features a garden and barbecue facilities. There is a terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. Lovely setting, so close all the town’s amenities, yet so quiet and private. The rooms are very spacious, and it was a delight to sit outside on the terrace and enjoy my evening meal.
