Kingsgate Hotel Paihia offers a memorable waterfront location, just 100 metres from Paihia wharf. The hotel offers views across the Bays brilliant blue sea and out to Russell. This is great stay specially with kids. It's got a games room and two swimming pools overlooking the front beach. The Restaurants, shops and peer is with in walking distance. A big up for housekeeping and the beds are a bliss to sleep on. I love the fact that our room has a communal basin (kitchen and bathroom Basin) outside the bathroom and that the toilette is separate from our bathroom which incl a shower and a bath. Reception and night staff is always available and very helpful will surely visit again when exploring the Bay of Islands.

Ambience perfect for my travel needs...holiday mode. Pool was great...a few leaves and twigs in the pool but it didnt faze us. Shops next door and the bottle shop was handy:) Excellent all round.

The lodge has a pretty garden and even a pool that we only noticed the last morning. Host Dave was very nice and helpful, prompt in all communication and we felt welcome. Breakfast was very good and my gluten-free diet was noted, which I really appreciate as that isn’t nearly always clear. Our room was very spacious, had french doors and a view to a medow. Closeby Whangarei is a nice little town for a stroll, the interesting Hundertwasser gallery and even a visit to a waterfall.

O Paihia Beach Resort & Spa disponibiliza luxuosas acomodações boutique apenas a 20 metros da pitoresca Praia Te Tii. 2 bedroom executive room was wonderful, large out door space, glass pane right around so children were secure from the pool. Spa bath in main room was awesome. Washer and dryer in bathroom was good as were there for 2days. Would stay there again
